After stamping my PI onto x-press it cs with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, I colored her up with these copics. I gave her a darling little yellow bunny suit. I wanted her to really stand out against all the pink on this card. The designer papers are from Woodland Park by Oct. Afternoon.
I used some of the cute, polka dotted paper to piece up the giant Easter Egg she is holding.
I had yet to create any Easter eggs with Lisa Johnson's new stamps, and coordinating Die-namics, EASTER ELEMENTS. I was thrilled to add a few eggs to accent this card. I cut one from Pink Lemonade cs and another one from Sweet Tooth. I then added some chevrons from SPRING BACKGROUNDS in Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink. Man, I how I adore those chevrons. I then stamped a sentiment from the PI-BUNNY EARS in Sno Cone ink and finished the egg with a small Heart Stax Die-namics and a Sour Apple button.
I wanted to use more of the Spring Backgrounds, so I did, but this time on the inside. I also stamped another cute sentiment from the PI set.
I also made a card with the adorable PI-CUTE AS A BUTTON. It's NO secret around here that I looooove buttons. I think they might just be my favorite embellishment. So this little sweetie tugged at my heart strings.
Here are the Copics I used to color her up.
I used up some of the bits and pieces of scraps from the Studio Calico paper, Darling Deer to make some paper buttons. So easy to do with the new BUTTON BORDER DIE-NAMICS. I used MFT Kraft and Night Shift Blue card stocks with these designer papers.
I cut a few layers of the new HEXAGON STAX to use as my backdrop for my PI. I added more Spring Background, but this time I used the pretty, Houndstooth pattern in Sno Cone ink. To help tie in the sewing theme, I also stamped a couple zig zag stitches in Kraft Ink with last months, Hearts and Stitches background stamp set.
You'll also see a Small Pinking Edge and a file tab cut from MiniTab Foursome Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment in Wild Cherry Ink, right on that tab.
After I had my card almost complete, it still felt a little unbalanced to the left side, so I decided to cut one of the new LARGE LEAF FILLED FLOURISHES and tucked that right in there. Just what my card needed!
