MFTWSC110-sending smiles

I am still enjoying all of the Brand Spankin' New  product from the February Release. If you ordered, I'm sure your are on their way to you. MFT shipping is always speedy fast!!!
I am playing along with this week's MFT sketch. I flipped it, so my sweet Doodle Garden, Springtime Wishes would fit better in the Oval STAX 1 Die-namics.

I'm also playing with new papers.....LOVE the new My Minds Eye papers. These are from the Remarkable 6x6 pack.  I also scored myself some Prismacolored Pencils. After seeing Inge's tutorial for the MFT Academy, I was dying to try them. They arrived at my doorstep (Thanks Amazon, Prime!).

So here is my first attempt at coloring with them.  I am still learning and need to find some favorite color combos. BUT I have to say I am proud of myself, for a first go round. I did use MFT Sweet Tooth cs and stamped the image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I followed Inge's tips. If you have not seen the tutorial, then check it out HERE.

A few other accents on the card were created with Die-namics. I layered up two of the largest size flowers from EASTER ELEMENTS and topped it with a Sno Cone button tied up with hemp twine.  I cut a Sentiment Strip with whip cream cs and stamped the sentiment with the NEW  Sour Apple Ink.  I used all MFT card stock with this card:Hot Fudge, Night Shift Blue, Sweet Tooth, and Sno Cone. Love my MFT cardstock!

Here is the sketch for this week's challenge:
