MFT Guest Designer Challenge

So last month I never got my card posted in time. You saw it here last week. I wasn't going to make that mistake two months in a row. I used this month's MFT Guest Designer Sketch to make a birthday card for my friend Julie.

If you are on FB then you may have seen my post the other day about what she wanted to do for her birthday, you know the BIG 4-0!!! She's an athletic and health conscious girl, so she decided to invite a few friends to take  Flying Trapeze lessons! Yep, tonight I'll be learning how to swing from the Big Top with the Cincinnati Circus. Wish me luck!

Here's her card. I used some of the Studio Calico, Darling Deer paper and some of my favorite MFT Die-namics. I stamped the HB2U sentiment from Gift Card Greetings  in Wild Cherry Ink. I used a Circle Stax 1 die to cut the layer to add on top of my Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics.

I used the Fishtail Flag Stax for the banner on the sketch and added sweet touch of scallops across the card with the Scallop Edge Die-namics.
I needed a little something to jazz up the card front, so I added a trio of embellies with MFT Buttons in Sno Cone and Night Shift Blue and a MINI ROLLED ROSE Die-namics.

The inside of the card what decorated with a Gift CARD GREETINGS-VERTICAL Die-namics. I cut the pocket with some Kraft cs and added the word "splurge". We all went in on a gift card to her favorite store.

 Here is this month's sketch.

I sure hope you'll give it a try. The sketch is fun, and the PRIZE is fabulous. You can read all about the contest Details HERE!
