The new Pin Wheel die-namic is waaay cool and sooo, so easy to work with. You simply cut two pin wheels out, stack them on top of each other, off set them a bit, and line up the little pin holes to connect with a brad. There are 3 different centers you can choose from to help pretty them up. They really are fun to make. And the fact that it comes with a sweet, sweet sentiment set....you'll have a great, quick and easy way to make fun cards and projects for whatever the occasion.
I decided to make a little hostess gift. I made the pinwheel, attached it to a wooden skewer (the kind you cook with) and stuck it in a flower pot.
I then used some MFT ribbon, and the Framed Greeting die-namic to dress up the flower tin. Seriously, this was so quick and simple!
Those fun extra little flowers on the label are the pin wheel centers that come with the die-namic. Oh, and I couldn't resist using a little bit of twine to tie it all up.
Then I have a little shabby chic summery card. I was playing with my new MFT cardstock colors- jellybean green and pink lemonade. I also got grapesicle and banana split....you'll see those later. I stamped the tree onto some newsprint designer paper I had (colored direct with water base markers, huffed and stamped) and added the sentiment to the File Tab die-namic and prettied it up with some lace and a button.
A couple other details to note.....I used the scallop ribbon die-namic, cut in half and attached to the edges of my pink base. Then if you look closely you'll see some text print on the fossil strip in the background. That was done with the Own Your Story stamp set.
You know the drill. Off you go to Kim's Blog. One more day.....it's almost release time!
here's another looksie at the new die-namics being released on July 5!
