I just got back from a wonderful visit with my dad - I hadn't seen him in 14 years. All those years and negative feelings melted away and we had a great visit. I just hope to see him again...soon. Got to hang with one of my sisters, too! So far, so good!

ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about summer is the long days and watching the fireflies at dusk. I really wish we all had off from work in the summer to have careless fun like we used too, remember how summers were just the best fun when you were younger! :) Well we can still enjoy, just not as carefree ;). ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about summer is the ability to not be on a "schedule". Waking up slowly with the kiddies - letting them laze about a bit more rather than being so "on" with school schedules, activities, etc. We head to the pool that we belong to...spend as much or as little time there as we like. Come home and have free play, cook a little, craft a little and just "be". It's wonderful.
I hope you are having a beautiful summer as well and I hope you have an AMAZING time at CHA!!

Wow just saw your blog, and am loving your designs! The biggest thing I love about summer is going to the lake! I live 3.5 miles from a wonderful natural wonder, and so I spend as much time as I can down there watching boats, listening to music & riding my bike! Doesn't get any better than that.
