It's such a fun and bright collection, I knew it was perfect for my fabulous Fiesta WTG!  You can get a look at the fabby flowers (pretty posies die-namic included in the kit, it's a 6 piece die with 3 sizes of flowers and 3 sizes of centers) made from the new die-namic. I also added some scallops thanks to the jumbo scallop die-namic and the simply scallops die-namic. It's good to have options in size when it comes to scallops!
Okay, off you go.  Mrs. Fabulousness herself, CAROLE is up next.

à la mode TEASER....day 2!

Welcome to day 2 of our MFT à la mode TEASERS!   Today, I've got our newest à la mode, You Mean the World to Me, and she's just as cute as yesterday's You Rule.

In case you're new to this line of stamps......Here's the 411 on these fun, flirty and fabulous girls:
  • Each set is produced in the USA using the highest quality rubber, with the deepest etch possible.
  • Each image and sentiment is backed on cling foam and scroll cut, making it ready for stamping right out of the bag!
  • Packaged in a clear hang bag, we've also provided the ideal storage solution by including a thick laminated header card in each set that can be used to store the stamp set, in its entirety, after purchase.
When I was searching for a color scheme for my card, these papers from Echo Park-Little Boy set the stage. That's usually my first step when designing a card, picking out the designer paper, especially when I'll be coloring. Once I find the papers, then I know how to coordinate my copic colors.

I also used Jen's ASFYTT for this month. It's been sitting on my desk, just waiting for a card to be made with it.

I added a fun canvas flower from Jillibean soup (and a little peek-sie at one of the new die-namics) and a few buttons tied up with yummy TWINE! Love the sentiment and there are quite a few others included in the set that are just as sweet. She's stamped on x-press blending cs and colored with Copics.
Kim's got the Teaser Line up.
Be sure to check it out AND be back here TONIGHT.....it's MFT VIP time.  It's your chance to get some exclusive product, and the April WTG and a die-namic two weeks early! So fun!

Ippity...week 3 of March Challenge with a Twist!

Post no.2 for today!
**Please scroll down for the MFT Teaser Post**

It's another fun filled week with the {ippity} Challenge with a Twist series.  I've been dying for this week...cuz I LOVE, seriously, LOVEthis inspiration piece. I loved it so much, I even sewed (although now I'm convinced, sewing on fabric broke my machine-HA! I can't get it to work on paper. UGH! strange coinecidnce.....) Check out this POST to see my own pillow.
For today's post I made a card and added lots of texture and layers.  I did up some of my own fun flowers with paper, canvas and felt.

{ippity} stamps used are:
dots for sure (red dots on my canvas layer)
how you doin'? (the little paper flower)
music of my heart (the sentiment)
Love in Return (sentiment flag)

Remember, the more you play the better your chances are to win the FABULOUS prize package! Use keyword IHHTC3, when uploading to splitcoast.

à la mode Teasers...day 1

Can you believe it? We are already half way through March???!!! As crazy as that sounds, it also means two exciting things. One, we've got our MFT mid-month release of 2 new à la modes, our VIP package AND something else you'll be jumping up and down about (more about that later. I know, such a TEASE!), and two, our next release is only a few weeks away! woohooo!

I've been working on my samples......you're gonna Love what we've got for you. BUT today, I've got our newest à la mode, You Rule.
In case you're new to this line of stamps......Here's the 411 on these fun, flirty and fabulous girls:

For today's card I used some Studio
Calico Papers and some fun school themed embellies-ruler twill, a clip, and of course the oh-so fun notebook edge die-namic.  It was also all wrapped with the yummy twine MFT now carries. This one is Lemondrop!  Oh, and you'll see a small strip of the small scallop border!

Kim's got the full line up of TEASER POSTS!

Butterfly Blog Linky Party!

One of my favorite stampy friends, the uber talented and oh-so-sweet, Eva has organized a fun event today.  With all the fabulous butterfly products out there and for their pure beauty, she thought it would be cool to get people together to show off some of these beautiful insects. It's totally informal, and everyone is invited to play. Make a card quick, and join the fun.  Just like your card to her post HERE!
I decided to play more with my Butterflies die-namic die from MFT and the recently released set, Inspired by Butterflies stamp set.
Does this card look familiar??? It's a similar layout to the Papertrey card I posted yesterday.  I loved the look I created with the flowers and thought it would also work with butterflies! I really love how this turned out.  There is also a little strip of the simply scalloped die-namics and the sentiment is from More Essential Sentiments.  I needed to make the sentiment fit (it was all one line) so I inked it up two different time, masking off the words I didn't need, to stack it on top of each other, making it a two line sentiment instead. Super easy to do with acrylic stamps.

If you are in the mood for LOTS of butterfly inspiration, make sure you visit Eva's Blog for the Mr. Linky List.
Tomorrow is a MFT TEASER day......we are almost to our mid-month release. AND I've got an ippity card, too.

Make it Monday.....a little distressing!

This week's Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge was to distress some edges.  I used my coolio distressing tool, makes a nice snowy mess on my lap, but makes for easy distressing. Love the look. I also paired this challenge up with Heather's Totally Hughes #3.  This was no challenge for me.....I just adore summer sunrise and aqua mist together, and throw in some darker tones (Hawaiian Shore and Orange Zest) of those same colors-LOVE IT!  Here's what I came up with.

PTI products:
Dotty Biscotti paper
Beautiful Blooms II #3 die
Freindly Flower die
Hello Friend stamp set
Turning a New Leaf stamp set

Thanks for stopping by. I've got another card for you tomorrow.  It's a butterfly beauty for Eva's fun blog hop!

Getting KRAFTY with TSG!

Wow! it has been waaaaaay too long since I pulled out my There She Goes Stamps.  I almost think I owe Jessica an apology. LOL!  Nothing like a little kraft challenge to really suck me in! I had a hard time deciding which set to use, but in the end, Poppies jumped onto my desk and said, "use me"! Love the beauty of these flowers.  I used the definition stamp to create a background behind the poppie circle. Had a little Copic therapy session while coloring these. Ahhhhh! I love coloring, it's so relaxing and fun with these beautiful markers.  shhhhh! I just ordered the new color set! eeeeeek! total splurge for me, and a bit of an impulsive purchase.....but now I can't wait to get them and use them.  And fill in my new copic chart.
I also used the new dizzy border die-namic here and some of my new FAVE (although I did just get some new Crate Paper, Jillibean, and Cosmo dp yesterday, so I'm sure I'll be moving on to those real quick. LOL!) For the Record by Echo Park. Hope you're not sick of it......I really like these papers. I decided to add a pop of color and add in a butterfly.
Thanks for stopping by. I've got another post coming up later today and one for tomorrow. I got a few challenges completed the other day and I'm showing them off this weekend! Tim was working, so I had some extra nite time 'puter time!
Hugs!
