Lil' Inker Designs July Release-Day 2

It is day two of the July Release by Lil' Inker Designs. If you missed the kick off yesterday, be sure to stop by and leave some love for a chance to WIN the full release. We are back today with more of the new release products.

I love making birthday cards. We always need them and they are so fun to share. The Scooter Balloons stamp set is so fun to work with.

I found it easiest to stamp the Scooter image first and then die cut the image with the matching Scooter Balloons dies. Then stamp the balloons. I used my Copics to color them up. I also decided to add another detail with some Crystal Effects to give the balloons a real-life look.

The background was easy to create. I used the newest addition to the Quilted Stitched Cover plates line up. This one is called Quilted Stitched So Stylish. I love how it looks like little starbursts. I added some Squeezed Lemon Distress oxide ink, for a burst of color.

I created a road for the Scooter with the Border Builders Dies. I stamped the "toot toot" sentiment from Scooter Balloons in Midnight ink. I rounded the bottom corners and called this done. Isn't this set so fun??!! I sure think so.

All you have to do is leave comments along your way today as you hop. They should be left before Sunday, July 29th at 11:30 PM EST in order to be eligible for our prize. We'll pick one winner from a DT Member's blog and announce shortly after the 29th.

Here is a closer look at the new products I used today.
