Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Welcome back! We have sooo much more good stuff to share with the new Reverse Confetti stamps and dies. I'm so glad you are here. It's Reverse Confetti Release Day!! You can SHOP here!

I have a JAM PACKED post today. I hope you grabbed your favorite drink and will stay to see what I've done today.

Could it be November already? With this month’s new release from REVERSE CONFETTI, it’ll be a snap to get a jump start on those holiday cards and projects (yep, Christmas is just around the corner!).

Lucky for you, it’s the 8th of the month, and we’ve got some inspiration to get you going with that very thing! Come and hop along with the Confetti Crew as we share some creative ideas using all the new products from REVERSE CONFETTI, including five new trendy stamp sets and introducing CONFETTI CUTS. That’s right, we now carry steel dies, and there are 2 sets to choose from this month. Along with the Confetti Crew and our new CHALLENGE Crew, we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action! Let’s go!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Giovani’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!

Let me get started with these holiday tags. I love making tags and they are a great crafty item to have on hand to dress up any package, card or gifty.  I Iike to have some ready to go for the holidays and these will do the trick. I used almost all of the stamps from TINSEL 'N TRIM to do these up. I started by cutting a mix of sizes from the two new tag dies. Lucky for you, the two sizes come together in one set, along with the banner strip and two enforcer dies. It's called TAG ME. It's awesome.

I also added some dots from Whole Lotta Dots and a few stripes from SO STRIPEY. Here's a closer look.

Moving on with the holiday theme. I finally get to show you what I did with the other new Confetti Cut  Sweet Treat Tent

I am in LOVE with this die, too. It's so easy to use and has soooo many uses. Simply cut two pieces of cardstock with the die ( here I used Sweet Tooth cs and then embossed some pin dots on it), adhere the tabs together, and embellish as you wish.

I was inspired by a few of the Confetti Crew members and used some vellum with my design today. I wanted to use that pretty dp by Basic Grey, but I couldn't get the sentiment to really stand out when I stamped on it. So I stamped the words from the newest Key Words set, BRING ON THE MERRY onto the vellum in Razzleberry ink.

I stamped the word "merry" onto the banner piece from TAG ME and colored it in with my Copics. I then gave the letters a good coating of liquid glue and doused it with Rock Candy Distress Glitter. It looks so sugary and pretty!

I prettied up the top with a festive polka dotted bow, silver twine, and a few jingle bells.

You really can add anything to the inside of your Sweet Treat Tent. I grabbed a Fun Size pack of skittles, I loved that the bit of red from the packaging . I used a strip of Scor-tape to adhere the treat to the inside of the tent.

You also can see the sugary letter detail in this shot.

And I have 1 more treat to share, using MORE of the stamps being released today. I think it's great that we have some non-holiday items in the line up. The BE A BARISTA and LOTS TO SAY stamp sets are amazing for year-round crafty fun. I paired them both up  with this next version of the SWEET TREAT TENT DIE

I made a Birthday Coffee treat.

Quick how to on how I made the SWEET TREAT TENT a little larger.

1.  Die cut two Sweet Treat Tents. Cut a piece of matching card stock to the same width of the tent and what ever length you need to fit your treat. I used a K-cup for my coffee birthday treat.  My extra piece was 2 x 2 7/8 inches.

2.  Add Scor-tape or another double sided strong adhesive to the end flaps of the Sweet Treat Tent Pieces.

3.  Attach the extra piece to the bottom of the tent.

4. Use a Repositional Adhesive or glue dot to add your K-cup. This will allow the recipient to easily remove the cup when they open the treat.

5.  This is what it looks like after you close up the Sweet Treat Tent.

The new TAG ME die is a great way to decorate up the tent. I added the smaller tag die behind my sentiment to look like a wide fishtail flag. The sentiment is from BE A BARISTA. I stamped it in Hot Fudge ink on to Kraft cs.

I scattered some gold sequins about, to tie in the gold stripes from SO STRIPEY I used along the bottom of the tent. You can see those here. I also stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment from Lots TO SAY in Hot Fudge ink for a subtle, tone-on-tone look in the background.

Phew! you  made it. I hope you enjoyed my projects. Thanks for sticking with me.

Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration!

Now it’s time to hop on over to Elena’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
