Today we are getting a little spooky with some FABBY Halloween treats!
These two sets are Must-Haves for your Halloween cards, pages, and treats this season. Once again, I LOVE the mix of fonts in the Spooky Sentiments Set. I used a bunch of them to make a chalkboard art card.
Have you tried your hand at the Chalkboard craze yet?? It's pretty easy to do. I cut some black card stock and placed the sentiments I wanted to use on my card stock to see where they would look good. Once I had them arranged to my liking (TIP-snap a quick picture, I used my phone, so I could remember what went where) I went ahead and stamped them one at a time with Versamark ink and then embossed them with some white embossing powder.
After my embossing is complete, I go back in with a tissue or paper towel and swipe on some white ink to give a chalk-dust look to my card stock. I also like to add some doodling with a colored pencil.
I couldn't resist adding that sweet hand stamped flag from Arrows 'n Elements. I attached them with some mini staples.
I used another Deonstructing Sketch for this card layout and it called for a circle element towards the bottom. This was the perfect spot for some of the Spooky Cuties. I stamped the fence in black ink, added the pumpkin (three individual stamps, so making custom jack o'lanters couldn't be easier), and a trio of buttons.

I also wanted to show you how cute and easy these stamps are for making Halloween treats. I used them to make a sleeve to fit over a baggie.
I cut some purple card stock to 3x11 and scored it to fit around the bag. I adhered the ends together, after I stamped them with the cute bat images from Spooky Cuties. I don't care for bats, but the crafty kinds I can handle. I ♥ that polka dotted one.
I used a circle die to cut some orange card stock and stamped the sentiment from Spooky Sentiment for a tone one tone look. I stamped some polka dots in white from Whole Lotta Dots (told you....these haven't left my desk) to match the dots on the kraft bag.
I finished the baggie off with some orange ribbon, black twine and a purple button. I love this color combo for Halloween. I don't do creepy Halloween.....but I adore cute Halloween, like these stamps from Reverse Confetti.
BUT before you go.....hop on back to the Reverse Confetti Blog to see a full list of who has peeks today.
There is a $15 gift certificate up for grabs. Please leave a comment on each sneak peek post for each designer for a chance to win. Comments will close at noon (CST) on September 7th and the winner will be announced at 5pm on September 7th.
