It's almost release time.....so until then, we'll be teasing you with some creations using the new stamps that are releasing ON Sept. 8!!
Today I have a few things with the adorable set called Count Your Rainbows. It's the next addition to the Key Words Collection. I know you're gonna love it. All the mix and matching you can do with the words. It's awesome.
I have a cute little door knob hanger. I have a thing for adding signage near doors in my house. I believe that if you see things over and over again, you'll begin to believe it. Kind of like my way of adding subliminal messages into my family's life. ;)
This beautiful sentiment is something I hope my boys remember. I cut a door knob hanger from a die I have in my stash and dressed it up with some Atlantic papers from Studio Calico. I cut a few stars and scattered them around my quote, along with a some sequins.
Since I was working with stars, I pulled out the great star stamp from Inner Rock Star stamp set. I added a cluster of them, stamped in Tangy Orange ink. A sweet little hemp twine, double bow was the finishing touch.
I made this card in some fall colors, using another beautiful sentiment from the Count your Rainbows stamp set. I used the current SFYTT4 sketch (have you played along? what are you waiting for?).
I pulled out my fabulous Tim Holtz Distress Markers and used 4 colors (Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, and Walnut Stain) to ink up by sentiment. I love creating a multi-colored image, this way. Use the side of your marker to ink up the words as you like, give it a quick huff, and then stamp.
I used two other fun Reverse Confetti stamp sets to help accent this beautiful sentiment. I added some fun Chevrons from Arrows 'n elements. I used the same colors I used in the sentiment. I needed just a little something else, so I added the fun graphic circles in the background from Whole Lotta Dots (just so you know.....this set hasn't left my desk in two months. I ♥ it!). When I used my distress markers, I like to add distressing to the edges. So I roughed it up a bit, added some stitching and sponged on some vintage photo distress ink. So happy with this one.
Thanks for joining me today. Come back tomorrow, for more Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks for the September Release.
BUT before you go.....hop on back to the Reverse Confetti Blog to see a full list of who has peeks today. There is a $15 gift certificate up for grabs.
