Unity....{Brown Thursday Sale!!!}

Happy Thursday and HELLO!!!!
Are you ready for some shopping
and hopping???
Angela and Unity Stamp Company
has got BIG PLANS for you!

Today is BROWN THURSDAY!!!
Did you know??
She is giving you plenty of time
to shop
AND not have it interfere with
next week's
US Thanksgiving Holiday
and family time!

Best part is....
THERE is a HUGE SALE!!!

In honor of this event...
the WHOLE Unity DT
has some projects to share
showing off
Brown or Kraft.

There are prizes up for grabs for comments, too!
THREE of them,
but you don't know who holds the secret
blog candy, so make sure you make your way through the
full hop.

Today
I made an 8x8
art page.

I have been wanting to use
this wonderful stamp
from
the co-brand by Christy Tomlinson.
I even used some white Gesso on this.
A real mixed media project!
The stamp is from the She Art line,
This one is SHE was a daughter

The stamp is HUGE!
I also used a few of the coordinating
background stamps:
and
(I already see 4 more backgrounds I NEED!!!)

I took the "brown" theme literal and
actually die cut some butterflies
from a brown paper lunch sack.
I folded it over and used
the Inspired by Butteflies Die-namcis to cut that large one.
I stamped the background in Razzleberry ink
and layered them up
and topped it with a button and twine
and then dusted it  with my favorite
Rock Candy Distress Glitter!

Here is a close up of more of the detail of the
girl.
I colored a few of her panels
with copics
but most of it was pieced with
the Acorn Avenue paper by Crate Paper.

I can not wait to find a frame for this
and hang it in my craft room.
Actually I'm thinking it might
make it to a bathroom wall.

There are also some new stamps!
Be sure to check them out!
one of them (the snowflakes)
is FREE with a $60 purchase.

I'll send you on your way.
is up next.
