MFTSCRAP2 {Cookies 4 Santa}

I'm so happy to have you back for our second scrapbook sketch challenge. Did you play along last month?? We kicked off a brand new challenge with My Favorite Things and we are calling all scrappers.

No matter how you capture your memories, we would love for you to join us and be inspired to scrapbook. There are even two versions of the sketch to try. With sooo many stamps and Die-namcis to choose from in the MFT Boutique, your pages will come together beautifully, I just know it.

Here are the sketches to work with:

Traditional Layout

Project Life Layout

Here is my layout. I'm still working through 2009 and I wanted to get these sweet pictures of my three favorite boys onto a layout. They were making cookies for Santa.

We love our frosted cookies around here, but there is NO way we can give out these cookies to anyone other than Santa...too much finger licking and tasting while we are decorating ;)

I pulled out most of the new Laina Lamb line of stamps to make this page stand out. The DOCUMENT IT-DECEMBER STAMP SET has almost all of the words I needed to accent my layout.

I always include the date on all my layouts, at least a month and year. This helps me keep track of where they will fall in my album. Makes it easy when you choose to scrap out of order, like I do. I especially love the fun font of the numbers included in the DOCUMENT IT-DECEMBER SET.

I cut the title from the HIGHRISE ALPHABET LOWER CASE DIE-NAMICS in WILD CHERRY card stock. The designer paper on my layout are from the new Crate Paper line-.SLEIGH RIDE  I used 12x12 size on my layout, but did you know that MFT has the 6x6 paper pad in stock. There are LOTS of great pads in the Boutique. Don't miss them.

I also used the largest award seal die from ACCENT IT-FLAGS & TAGS and stamped the border in WILD CHERRY INK and added the word "santa" from the DOCUMENT IT-DECEMBER SET. The teeny number 4 was from the DOCUMENT IT-CALENDAR BASICS STAMP SET. Mixing and matching is always fun and easy with MFT products.

I also added an oven mitt and rolling pin all tied up with a Twine bow for a custom made embellie. I just love those little accents from BON APPETITE

In the upper corner I used the cute flag from ACCENT IT-FLAGS AND TAGS to stamp the word "family" and a sweet little heart from ACCENT IT-CALENDAR COMPONENTS.
