CR84FN67 {Sweet & Sassy}

**Please check my most recent post for Today's MFT Teaser Card**

I have been keeping a happy little secret!!! I can finally share.....Mona has asked me to join her CR84FN color challenge team! I love the inspiration photos and the colors are always beautiful. I am so honored to join the talented team. I think you'll recognize some of the other members, too!

What I love most about the challenge is just what the name says....IT'S JUST for FUN!!! Come join us. We post a new challenge twice a month and you have two weeks to work with the chosen color combos and inspiration photos.
Here's our challenge for this week:

Here is my card.  I have to admit I was a bit afraid of the gold. But then I found these papers and remembered my rule of using a not-so-favorite-color sparingly. So I did. I added touches of gold with some Champagne shimmer paint, mini gold brads, and a few ROYAL LEAVES DIE-NAMCIS covered in Gold Glitzy Glitter.

The papers are from the On Trend paper pack by Crate Paper and I used MFT cardstock-kraft, grapesicle, and SU's Perfect Plum. The stamp set is an older set by My Favorite Things and I had fun rediscovering it. It's called Sassy & Sweet.

I added a purple scallop layer with a MEDIUM SIMPLY SCALLOP BORDER DIE-NAMICS. The flourishes are from the SASSY & SWEET stamp set. I stamped those with that Champagne shimmer paint.

There are some fun banner strips I added. One is a piece of washi tape in polka dots. I added that to the top of a FISHTAIL FLAGS LAYERS DIE-NAMICS.  Here's a look at the gorgeous MINI ROLLED ROSE. Gosh I love those done up in felt...soooo pretty, dontcha think??  You can also get a closer look at those pretty gold leaves.

be sure to stop by and leave some love
