Welcome to our VIP New Product Tour with My Favorite Things and we are gearing up for our goolish, fall holiday of Halloween. Let me tell you, there is nothing scary about these stamps....they are full of costumed cuties!

GET it! This is one great collection.
- Pure Innocence Prehistoric Girl stamp set
- Pure Innocence Owl Costume stamp set
- Costumed Cuties Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
- Peek-a-Boo Trio Die-namics
I am over the moon excited about both these great stamp sets, but I have to admit it....I am REALLY loving the OWL COSTUME SET. I love owls, even have a Pandora Owl charm for my bracelet. This cutie is just darling.
I stamped her on my favorite copic paper, x-press blending cs. I used some of my leftover Halloween paper from last year. The colors are fabulous. It's from Fancy Pants and it's called Oct.31st. It was fun to accent it with MFT Black Licorice cs.
Here is a closer look at her, and the sentiment I used from the FREE MINI sentiment set you'll get with this month's VIP COLLECTION. It's full of great words perfect for all your Halloween crafty projects.
The layout is from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch. It was the perfect excuse (like I need one ;) ) to use the wonderful FISHTAIL FLAG STAX. It is always a perfect accent to any card, no matter how you use them. Pick them up with your VIP Collection, if you haven't added them to your stamp stash yet.
I also added a fun embellishment collection of stars, a button, and a flourish. The pretty FANCY FLOURISH looks great tucked behind the STAR STAX DIE-NAMICS. The button is from the TANGY ORANGE pack of MFT Buttons. Did you see there is new twine in the MFT Boutique as well. Mine is on it's way to me :)
Now let me show you the other costumed cutie included in this month's collection. Isn't she so cute?? That bone in her hair just makes her over the top CUTE!
2). Stamp directly over top with the animal print of choice. I used the zebra print here, but you can also see in the next photo that I also used the cheeta print.
3). Cut out the dress and paper piece onto another stamped and colored image of the same girl.
I love the finished look. (You'll be seeing the Cheeta girl, later this month).
I kept the card fairly simple, wanting the PI to take center stage. Although, I do have to point out that great ribbon. It's the Blue Raspberry ribbon....YUM! I used the DOUBLE SCALLOP BORDER DIE-NAMICS to add a little extra POP in the backdrop.
Ne lext up, let me show you the cool new Die-namics you'll get with this month's VIP COLLECTION. It's called, Peek A Boo Trio! It is so fun to work with.
I cut it twice, once in whip cream cardstock and then again with some designer paper. I glued the patter paper to the top of the Whip Cream layer, and then used dimensionals to pop up the Peek-a-Boo element of my card.
I then stamped the two PI-Costume Cuties onto two different circles and colored up just their heads. For the center circle I made a custom sentiment element by stamping different words from the FREE MINI SET in different coordinating colors. I love how it turned out!
In the back ground, I added a strip of the DOUBLE SCALLOP BORDER, as well as the largest of the TRIPLE SCALLOP BORDER. I stitched them all on to a Black Licorice cardstock mat and finished the outside of the card with a giant Grape Jelly GROSGRAIN bow.
I decorated the inside with some more coordinating products, but this time added the sentiment to the largest SAY WHAT speech bubble.
