MFT WSC76-DAD Rocks

It's another Wednesday....and another great day for a My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge!!! Whoot Whoot! I made another fun DAD card, making sure I have all my bases covered for this weekend. I love the new Masculine Graphic Tee Die-namics and stamp set. Cards come together so quickly.  I pulled some great manly papers from October Afternoon's 9 to 5-some argyle and wood grain. 
I used that masculine tee (it's layered up...I simply cut the whip cream tee at the score lines around the sleeves, neck, and bottom and then attached it to the top of the navy layer) in place of the middle square panel  and I stamped it with the You Rock sentiment. Isn't that lightning bolt cool??
I cut a Fishtail Flags and stamped the word "dad" with the typewriter alphabet (LOVE that there are soooo many different sized letters in this set, perfect for any project). 

I added a MONARCH BORDER along the bottom. Some stitching, a button, and some Honeydew twine finished off the front. 

Since I had used a darker card base, I also decided to add a little something to the inside, so I could add my own message. I cut a square with the SQUARE STAX 2 DIE-NAMICS, and added a stamped sentiment from CS ABOUT FATHERS to a FIRST PLACE AWARD RIBBON tail. A little MONARCH BORDER, to match the card front and this was done.
