Clearly Sentimental about Pets, Big Greetings, Claire Keay - Funny Bunny
It's another wonderful line up! So let's jump right in. I've got a few to share!
Let's start with BIG GREETINGS! It's the next Triple Scoop stamp set, that will be available for FREE with any $60 purchase.
I ♥ this set of sentiments. They all play up the word BIG, and the font is so great! I used a total of three of the sentiments on my card-1 on the outside and combined two on the inside.
I used more of the amazing new OVAL STAX DIE-NAMICS. I have really fallen in love with these. I've always been drawn more to circles than ovals, but now THIS has changed. The shape of these ovals is just perfect and when you add a matt (or two) behind the front layer, it just makes a nice, clean, finished focal point.
My card is inspired by one I saw months ago by Lisa Johnson. I used the VERITCAL GREETINGS DIE-NAMICS to create this fun eye-catching element with the buttons and twine. There is a strip of the MINI MONARCH BORDER along the bottom.
Open the card up and you'll find more of the gorgeous papers by My Mind's Eye and another layered up duo of STAX OVAL DIE-NAMICS. I also show off the pretty new PHOTO CORNERS DIE-NAMICS.
I'm just diggin' all the BASICS MFT is releasing this month....serious MUST HAVES to your stamping arsenal.
Now let's move on to one of my FAVE, My Favorite Things artists, Clare Keay. I just adore EVERYTHING she comes out with for MFT. This month's set, FUNNY BUNNY, is no exception. I fell in LOVE at FIRST sight.
I tried a new to me, Copic technique with this one. I have beed drooling over all the cards I see with this cool stippled look to animal/furry images. I winged it and really like how it turned out. I created this look just by adding quick dots all along the edges of this cutie. Here are the marker colors I used.
I tried to add more to the outside of this card, more embellies, more Die-namics, and even a sentiment, but nothing felt right to me.
I LOVED the simple layers with just the new PHOTO CORNER DIE-NAMICS and the lovely new MFT Grosgrain ribbon. It ties like a dream!!!!! This is the Kraft color. Seriously....SWOON!
I carried over the same layout to the inside, which was the perfect place for the sentiment.
It's stamped on a stack of the OVAL STAX DIE-NAMICS with a sweet little heart from HOMESPUN BIRDHOUSE DIE-NAMICS. Here's a closer look.
That's it from me for today. Thanks for stopping by.
