First up for me is this cute little book mark. Back when I was a demo for SU, at the one Convention I attended we made these awesome ribbon bookmarks. I still use that one in my bible and love it. Soooo, I put that great idea to work and adapted it to fit this adorable book image-Books A Flutter. I cut the base from chipboard with the labels 13 nestie, pieced up the quote and butterfly image (the butterfly is really attached to the top of the stack of books stamp but I cut it off to change the placement!) with Oct. Afternoon dp. The books were colored with copics. I already have this in the Jodi Picoult book I'm reading.
Next up is a peek at the new Bug set-A Little Buggy! Cute, cute, CUTE!!!
Doesn't this caterpillar just make you smile?!!! Yep, makes me happy just like the sentiment says! Oh, and check out my fun button treatment. I saw Betsy Veldman do it and loved it, had to try it! Thanks, Betsy! And I've got one more for you today. It combines the Faith Blooms and burlap background set. I used a layout from my Go-TO sketches magazine that I've been itching to put to work. Quick and easy. I also pulled out my watercolor crayons and some watercolor paper-hadn't used these products in a looong time and love the soft, pretty feel it gives to the card.
Off you go to visit Maria! and don't forget to see today's snippets on the {ippity} blog!
