I made this one a week or so ago. It was for that awesome color challenge-razzleberry, curry, and black. Love how this medallion stamp can make such a great CAS card. See my strip of curry paper at the top? Any guesses as to why I added it? Yep, tried to stamp the sentiment without my SAMJ and got it crooked. Seriously, I rarely stamp with out this tool anymore. Gotta love the textured cardstock, too. Adds just the right touch of, I don't know what. I just like it!
Hugs, Lisa
ETA: tootin' my horn....did you all see this? Yeah, me!
Awesome card, Lisa! I use my SAMJ on almost every card I make. Couldn't stamp without it!
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa, I adore this card!! Fabulous use of colors with this stamp. Tee hee, I was guessing that's what you did with your sentiment- you silly girl! The extra piece looks very cool and intentional though!
ReplyDeleteHey, congrats on getting listed on Dawn's favorites!! Way to go- and that was your favorite card that day too, if I remember right! Woo hoo for you!!!
Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI happened to find your blog through Dawn McVey's blog. I loved the card that you made for her challenge. Anyway, I just wanted to leave a comment for you about this card. I LOVE it! I think the strip of paper at the top looks great, sometimes mistakes turn out even better than planned! :)
What a great card! Love the color combo! TFS!
ReplyDeleteYeah for you, I saw your name on her list earlier, congrats!
ReplyDeleteAnd this is fantastic! Great colors, and I would never have known that extra strip was to cover up a boo boo, or as I tell my class ladies, "opportunities for creativity".
