Reverse Confetti November Countdown/ Day 3

I am super excited about today's stamp set, Snowflake Magic. It's super cool and really easy to work with and layer up.It's similar in style to the previously released My Sunshine set. I used some wintry purple colors to show off this beauty today. I started with the Snowballs Cover Panel in Premium Polar White and left some of the die cut pieces in place. This allowed me some extra space to add my foam dots so I could pop up this layer. 

I stamped the Snowflake Magic images in Mist, Abyss, and Wisteria inks. It's so pretty in real life, it was really hard to photograph the light colored details. I then used the Snowflake Magic Confetti Cuts to cut out each piece and adhered them together. The mist snowflake pieces on the bottom layer I had to stamp and cut 8 times. With the help of a stamp positioning tool the stamping went quickly and the dies line up easily, so the die cutting went fast, too. 

Before I adhered the completed snowflake down, I added a few strips of the yummy Fun Times 6x6 paper pad. I added a touch of sparkle with a scattering of sequins.

Today is my favorite day, I love these furry friends, Furever Friends and Snow Bunnies and all the goodies I used with them. Let's talk about the background first. Oh, how I love cover panels and the new Snowballs is to die for. I'm a sucker for polka dots of any kind, so don't let the name of this one fool you, it can be used year round and I plan on doing just that! I cut it from Stone card stock and added it to the top of a Premium Polar White card base. 

My other new totally FAVE product is the Grid Stitched  Tag Confetti Cut. I will be using this over and over and over again. I love the sweet little re-enforcer included with it. I inked up the sweet little pup from the new Furever Friends stamp set and also a few of the extras from the set. It's such a fun scene building set and also includes a kitty image. We are a dog family and in a house full of boys, so a masculine birthday card is always good for my stash. I paper pieced the dog bed image with the diagonal stripe form Winter Solstice 6x6 pad and also added a strip along the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink. I love using Midnight ink for all my sentiments, it's so crisp and perfect!  I used the Furever Friends Confetti Cuts to cut out all the images. 

My next card has me just as happy. I added Piggy Bank pink to give it a more girly feel. This new set is called Snow Bunnies.

 I used one of the bunny images and a few of the clouds from the set. I colored them with Copic markers and used the Snow Bunnies Confetti Cuts to quickly cut out all the bits. I added them to the awesome  Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cuts. Told you I love it! I cut the tag twice, once in Sand card stock and again with the bottom half in Cloud White and then used the Edger Confetti Cuts to create the hill. I added some glitter to the top of the hill for some snow effect. A strip of the polka dotted pattern from Winter Solstice pulled it all together. Gosh, I love this color combo! What about you??

Ok. So let's go big with my first project. I'm showing the new Christmas Circles stamp set (one the first banner piece), but the star of this show is the adorable Scalloped Bags & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts. There is so much you can do with these dies, lots of cut bags and the tags, and I decided on a banner with the set. It was so fun to create. I started with picking and assortment of patterns of paper from the new Winter Solstice 6x6 pad. These papers are SO ME! the colors are gorgeous and the prints are awesome. Once I picked my 5 (I started this thinking I was going to spell out MERRY, and then went a different direction when I couldn't narrow down my stamp choices. lol. Too many to love!) patterns I cut the scallop panel and then stitched around the edges for that homemade feel. 

I'll take the next series of photos to show you a close up of each banner piece. I decided to decorate each one differently with an assortment of RC holiday goodies. First up the new Christmas Circles in Piggy Bank ink. I cut them with the coorinating circle die and added the scalloped border in Lime Green card stock (I hid the tab under the holly). I added layers with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts in Sand and Cloud White card stocks. I added some Holly Confetti Cuts, I ink blended Olive ink onto the holly leaves and cut the berries from Cloud White and Salsa card stock.  

I used Sand card stock and the rounded rectangle die from Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts and added the tall candle from Christmas Candles stamp set. Sentiment was stamped in Midnight ink. The pine boughs are stamped in Olive ink and I added some sparkle with some Red Stickles glitter. 

I cut the largest circles from  Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and stamped a sentiment Seasonal Sentiments from in Olive ink. I guess now, would be a good time to mention I added some Old Paper Distress ink to all the edges of all of my pieces. I love the vintage feel it gives to the projects. 

This next banner piece shows off the Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts again and I topped it with Snowflake Trio and a festive red bulb from Merry & Bright. I adore this dotted paper from the Winter Solstice paper pad. 

My finale banner piece from the Scalloped Bag & Tag Creator Confetti Cuts shows the cut Triangle Trees stamp set, in piggy bank and sentiment in Olive ink. I mounted those onto a Circle 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts. I used buttons and twine and some olive grosgrain ribbon to tie the banner together. It was a quick project to pull together once I decided on the elements I wanted to use. 

Switching gears completely from holiday to everyday.....let's talk COFFEE! Yep, there is an a great new coffee set and coordinating Confetti Cuts called  Drink More Coffee! I used my favorite sentiment from the set. Isn't is awesome. It makes me smile. 

I created my own background paper with repeatedly stamping the coffee stamp in Midnight ink onto Sand card stock. I then layered that with a Dark Roast and added the completed layers to a Premium Polar White card base. 

The main image panel started with the Stitched Rays Cover Panel and some ink blending with Bumblebee ink and a touch of Rust. I then used the Round Top Tags Confetti Cut to cut out a tag and then added a strip of pattern paper from Every Little Bits pad. I stamped the sentiment from Drink More Coffee in Rust ink and added stripes to the mug in Rust, also. I used the Drink More Coffee Confetti Cuts to cut out the cute little mug.

25 Days of Christmas Tags/Reverse Confetti

Hello, hello! It's time for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Whoohoo! It's a fun event that is organized by Tracey McNeely.

My tag is a brand new Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cuts and I am in love with it. It is releasing on November 8th, so don't miss it. I added a Holiday Gnome colored up with Copic markers. I had some fun with a non-traditional color combo, Iced Aqua, RC Aqua, and Piggy Bank. 

The circle sentiment tag is a new stamp set, too. It's called Christmas Circles. I added it to another new die set, Scalloped Bag & Tag Creator Confetti Cuts.

Picket Fence Studios/ Happiness

Happy Saturday! I'm popping in with a water colored Lily card. I saw Heather Hoffman (House Built of Cards) show a great water colored card with a diagonal masked off sentiment space. These gorgeous florals, Lily Bouquet, from Picket Fence Studios were calling my name. I have been practicing my water coloring skills and I thought the larger petals from this set would be a great way to continue practicing. I really love how it turned out. 

Once the panel was dry, I went and added a sentiment from Happiness Belongs to You. I finished the card with some black splatters and some of the Happy Hour sequins.

I'll keep practicing my water coloring skills and in the mean time, I'll keep staring at this card and feel proud of my progress. Oh, and I'll keep using these awesome stamps that help make it easy.
