Lil' Inker Designs Monthly Meet Up-Stars

The LID crew is back with the November Monthly Meetup Challenge. This month Laura has picked stars as our focus. I just love all the star choices from Lil' Inker Designs. It's also great that Laura has put the star dies on SALE!!! Snatch 'em up quick!

I used the beautiful Seasonal Stars on my card and the perfect holiday stamp set, All the Christmas You'll Ever Need. I just love the sentiment I used and it seemed perfectly paired with theses stars.

I used a few other of my favorite LID dies. The Stitched Mats-Circles and the Dual Stitched Rectangles. You might be thinking that is not a circle die you used, but it is! I used a trick I learned from Laura Bassen, when I went to die cut my circle, I slid the paper and die down over the edge of my cutting plate before I ran it through my Vagabond. This will ensure that the bottom edge of the circle will NOT be cut out. Then I simply used my paper trimmer and snipped off the cut circle piece. SO fun and a great way to get a cool look from your circle dies.

Before I stamped my sentiment, I went ahead and did some ink blending with Mustard Seed And Spiced Marmalade. Then I stamped the sentiment over top. Doesn't it look like there is a glow behind the words? Love that!

So be sure to hop on over to the LID Blog to see MORE star inspiration from the Lil' Inker Designs DT. You'll also find the challenge details and linky. We hope you'll play along. There is a pretty sweet PRIZE up for grabs.

Thanks for coming by today! I am always appreciative of your kind words.
