Rock on! It's time for a new inspiration challenge with The Curtain Call. So I know, my card is a bit of a stretch for the inspiration photo. The challenge is mason jars and has flowers, but that's what's great about these kinds of challenges. You can make them your own!
So I am probably one of the very few stampers that does not have one of the gorgeous jar stamps or dies, so I had to go a different direction. I was inspired by the colors and the chalk board look of the black jar. Plus, those pencils an abc's made me think of school. Roller skating parties and school go hand in hand. See, it all makes sense in my head. Yes, I really just wanted to use this uber cool stamp set from Taylored Expressions. It's called On a Roll. It's a stamp and die combo set....love that!
I used the just released Build a tag 5 . I love a layered tag look and I further pulled in the school theme with some note book paper for my one layer. I cut the stitched layer with Oreo card stock. I swiped on some white pigment ink to give it that chalk board feel.
The sentiment was given the same chalkboard feel and I stamped it with versamark and added white embossing powder. I cut the out with the Label It die. A trio of silver glitter stars from Seeing Stars.
