I loved the soft, muted colors with the bold, graphic gray stripes. I finally got my hands on that first Birdie Brown set, Sunflower Sweetheart, MFT released the other month. It was a hot item and was out of stock the first time I went to order it. My patience paid off, as then those NEW Gerbera Daisy Die-namics are this month's FREE item with a qualifying order. Seriously...SWOON!!!
I had every intention of coloring up the beautiful girl from the stamp set, but when I tried to make her work with the sketch, those flowers were too overpowering. So I opted for a more subtle, smaller image to work on that big giant circle. The flowers just HAD to take center stage. I followed the sketch pretty much spot on.
