Hello again. So glad
you are back for day two of the My Favorite Things Teasers. There is so much more to see. I hope you’ll
be back each day to see how I put some of the new product to use. The June release by MFT is next Tuesday
night, June 11 at 10p.
Today I have a card using the NEW Trendy Triangles stamp
set. I also put the matching Die-namics, Triangle Die-namcis, to work. As soon as I saw this stamp set, the first
thing I saw was a Christmas Tree. So for probably one of the first times in a
long time…..I’m getting a jump on my holiday cards.
I cut 4 of the large Triangles out of Natural cs and then used all the colors of green ink MFT sells-Jellybean Green, Factory Green, Sour Apple, and gumdrop green to add all the fun prints to my triangles. I sponged on Sour Apple ink around the edges and then attached them to my card base with foam pop dots.
I added a gorgeous Paver Red button to the tree top. The
tree trunk was cut from Hot Fudge cs using the Barbed Wire Fence Die-namics. I
wanted a woodgrain print embossed into the trunk, so this Die-namics was a
great pick.
I completed my winter
scene by cutting some Sno Drifts in Smooth White cs. I sponged the edges with Berrylicious ink, and then added some Rock Candy Distress glitter. The sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments and I stamped it in Hot Fudge ink.
I finished off the inside by stamping the smaller Trendy
Triangles on the inside to make a smaller tree.
Here is a closer look. I added one more holiday sentiment , this time I used Clearly Sentimental about Christmas.
