i Spy some Merry Christmas

While it may seem a little quiet here on my blog, I have been stamping up a flurry down in my craft room.  Tomorrow starts the December Teasers with My Favorite Things. It's going to be another fantabulous release.
I did kick start my mojo yesterday with this great sketch from the i Spy blog. Here's what I did with it.

The papers are from the Walnut Grove paper pack. It's a 6x6 pad with flowery, fall-like patterns, BUT I love that there are a few great, graphic patterns and pulled a few in one of my favorite holiday color combo-aqua blue and olive green. The cardstock is by MFT-Jellybean Green,  and  some Sweet Tooth.

I used last year's holiday set from MFT, CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS and layered a cardboard snowflake cut from LET IT SNOW DIE-NAMICS.

I got brave with my ornament and after stamping the sentiment and decorative stripes (included in the stamp set), I added a bit of colored glitter. I have had that stuff for years, got it for FREE when I was an SU demo and this is  the first time I'd used it, I think.

Love how it turned out. I am embracing my Bling, lately and I am  having a blast trying out new types of glitter. What better time than the Holidays, right?!

Following the sketch, I tied on some jute twine and added a few sweet, lil' holly leaves from the same CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT DIE-NAMICS SET. I topped that with a Sno Cone button. I love the homespun feel this card has.

Check out the Ispy sketch Challenge HERE. It's a good, CAS design. I know you'll love it.

Thanks for stopping by. See you back here tomorrow for my December Teaser post.

Here's my Inlinkz list....have fun!
