It is always such an honor when I have a card mentioned on a challenge I have played along with. I never expect it and I'm always floored when it happens. It's even a bigger SHOCKER when I am asked to be a guest stamper for the challenge. Wow!
I had to re-read my email 3 times to make sure Karen Giron meant to send it to ME ;) Thanks so much for asking me to join the talents of the Sweet Sunday Sketch team for this week. Yep, I'm this week's SSS Guest Stamper!
I love Karen's sketches and this one was no different!
I had a blast with this à la mode-You Shine. I decided to not make a holiday card with it, but just a pick-me-up card that will be perfect for a friend. I had fun with some bold patterns from the Seen & Noted paper pack. I used MFT Steel Grey as my neutral, love it!
I stamped my ALM onto x-press blending cs and colored her up with my Copics. I'm really working on my shading techniques. Whatcha think?
I mimicked the string of lights with some silver cording, a Lemon Drop Star STax piece and a hand made bulb created from the Christmas ornaments Die-namics. I decided it was a great spot to place my sentiment.
I continued the card to the inside, but using more of the same papers and added another sentiment from the same ALM set. This time I added, "you Shine" along with a few more stars!
