Let me start the day with my softer side. I am dying for an IPhone....hopefully soon. For now I'll have fun coloring up this GIRL TALK à la mode. I pieced up the outter layer of her phone with some new Miss Caroline paper by My Mind's Eye....how fun would an IPhone cover be in plaid??? I added a touch of crystal effects to the camera and lense holes.
I also did the sentiment up on the new CHAT BUBBLES DIE-NAMICS. Love those things!!! If you didn't see my post on how to shorted these Die-namics check out THIS post. (I'm making some changes to my blog real soon and I'm working on adding a tutorial list for my sidebar! )
I also prettied it up with a layered BOTANICAL BEAUTY DIE-NAMICS. The sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.
Now let's see the rocker chic.....she's pretty cool, too!. I pulled out some older SU paper from my stash.
I pieced up the guitar on this one and added a MONARCH BORDER. A row of rhinestones were the perfect touch.
I cut one of the MINI WAVY PENNANATS and stamped the "rock star" sentiment on it and stitched it onto a STACKING STARS DIE-NAMICS.
A few more stars and rhinestones finish the outside off.
I almost always finish off the inside of my cards when I uses the stacking stars....it's a no brainer when you have extra stars leftover. Another border strip of the MONARCH BORDER DIE-NAMICS, some of the same designer papers and another sentiment from the set and I have a sweet, coordinating inside to my card.
