Tonight I've saved a super special project of mine using the My How've Grown set (and the Clearly Sentimental about Parenting....the two go great together, so spend enough so you can earn it FREE!).
It's been a pretty emotional week for me. It's one of those bittersweet moments in life when one stage ends and another one begins. This set couldn't have come at a more perfect time.
So....to make me feel better, I decided to make myself a sweet little mini album. I cut some jumbo tags (they are about 3.5 x 4.5 inches) with my Silhouette and got busy with LOTS of MFT die-namics and the My How've Grown and CS about Parenting stamp sets. I did a tag with a picture of each boy at about the same age, only days old. Gosh, time sure flies.
J-
R-
and N-
and then I couldn't resist this sweet quote. The boys always give me a hard time when I tell them they'll always be my babies. They just don't get it!I ended the album with the most recent picture of all three together at ages-8,6, and 3 from this past Christmas.
Using the same designer paper (I used Echo Park's Little Boy dp here) throughout really helps pull an album together quickly. I made sure to use a few of the new die-namic, Flat Bottom Clouds
and the Simply Scallops border.
here are the rest of the MFT goodies I used:
star border die-namic
stacking stars die-namic
Hearts a Plenty die-namic
Button Quartet die-namic
framed greetings die-namic
fossil cs
MFT Twill
I also have a sweet little PI card that I didn't get to share during Teasers. I combined two of the new sets-Out on a Limb and You're Tweet! I really like that the two sets look great together, so make sure you pick them both up! There is more of the Simply Scallops on this one....told you I LOVE this die-namic!
Off you go. There is ALOT more to see. The wonderful talents of Cindy are up next!
Lisa, that album is FABULOUS!! What a wonderful keepsake that will be! And your little PI is adorable!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great mini album; you did a fabulous job!!! and the PI card is totally cute. Thank you for sharing with us. :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure this little album is. My current 'baby' is almost 2. I've always been pregnant with the next one at this point, so it is wonderful to enjoy her at this stage. I hate to think about when there will no longer be a 'baby' in my home. I had to order this set when it first became available and I just LOVE it to pieces!
ReplyDeletesuch a sweet post, and what a wonderful little album! hope you both have great bdays next week:)
ReplyDeleteOh Lisa, this is just precious. What great memories!
ReplyDeleteOMG, that little album is so perfect! One you'll treasure forever I'm sure! How nice that you treated yourself to a little pick me up after the tears over your baby growing up. I remember some of those emotions less than two years ago when redoing the "baby" room for a big girl room.
