A Smile for You

I have to tell you, this card was totally inspired by the new Crumb Cake ink pad by SU. It's kraft and I'm so over the moon excited to have it. I pulled out the sweet new release stamp set, Art is a Window by TSG-this bird is just too cute and there are lots of great sentiments. I chose this one, I think it's my fave.
I think I channeled my inner Dawn McVey here. I love what she did for this past release with PTI. I used what I had to create the notebook/ledger look-some basic grey Manilla Basics and my SU Spiral punch. The card needed a pop of color, so I finished off my Marina Mist ribbon with a felt flower and some buttons. The kraft layer was created by stamping the beautiful Sweet Pea flowers with kraft ink and then stitching around the edges. Simple and sweet, just how I like it!

  1. This card is just ADORABLE!! LOVE it all!! (=

  2. Oh so DARLING! LOVE that little bird! :)

  3. The pop of color is perfect, love this! I still need to order some of the new colors from SU, and crumb cake ink pad is at the top of my list!

  4. Hey Lisa!! I'm back and ready to check out all your fabulous creations! Love this one- simple and sweet with the pop of color! Great color combo and layout design!

Thanks so much for your kind and supportive words. I appreciate each of you taking the time to leave some love. Have a great day!
