Hello, Hello! I hope you just came from AJ's blog, and if not then hop on back to the beginning (Angela's blog) so you don't miss any of the wonderful creations today. We've got lots of treats for you today with a fabulous Halloween Hip Hop. Today is the release of this awesome new Halloween kit, Halloween Tree! You're gonna flip for this one, but then have you ever met a Unity stamp you didn't like? lol!
I've got 3 treats, not tricks for you today. I had soooo much fun making these. I really like this tree and the fact that it comes with 3 different sentiments makes it even more fantabulous! This first one is my fave sentiment. Have you heard the funny little-can't get it out of your head-catchy little tune Moose A. Moose sings on Noggin, "No, I don't like Candy corn"? Do you have toddlers, do you know the song? It cracks me up and that is the first thing I thought of when I read this sentiment. I on the other hand, adore candy corn-love that you can buy it in bulk! I used my markers (razzleberry, curry, and pumpkin) to made the sentiment look like candycorn. The layout is CASED from the SU catalog.I used the spotlight technique on this next card to highlight the yummy candies.
I layered up some punches to create the sentiment and finished it off with some sweet gingham ribbon. This last treat turned out just how I envisioned it. I LOVE to create this sponged background with any silhouette tree (see this one I did last year with the Growing in Unity tree) and knew these colors would help create the spooky nite sky just for the occasion. So there you have it, three treats from me. Now off you go to visit ****Christi****!!!
Happy Hopping! Hugs, Lisa
