I LOOOOVE ice cream! So you can imagine my surprise when i saw this set. It's called Love and Ice Cream. I love the mix of fonts in the sentiments and then the Love and Ice Cream dies are awesome! You can build all the fat free cones and sundays your heart desires!!!

I used a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches no. 184 for my card layout and added a sugary cherry and a layer of hot fudge to the top of my cone. The Love and Ice Cream die set has a great little squiggle piece perfect for creating any topping, simply chance the color of your card stock. After cutting out mine from hot fudge card stock, I gave it a good coating of Crystal Effects and let it dry. It's so delicious looking, I want to eat it.

The sentiment fit perfectly on my favorite new banner piece. I love all three pieces included in the new Stitched Flag Trio confetti cut set. Some scattering of sequins and my card was complete.

Count Down To Confetti {day2-Birthdays Shine}

It's PARTY TIME!!! That's right, Reverse Confetti is celebrating it's 2nd Birthday and we are sooooo super excited to share the fun with you all. The May release is happening on May 8 and we have 3 fabulous days of sneak peeks coming your way. It all started yesterday, if you missed it you'll need to check it out. Today is our second day of sneak peeks.

All the release details are over on the RC Blog, so be sure to start over there and see who all is hopping today. You'll want to leave comments along the way. Jen has upped the PRIZES this release. She wants to give you all a chance to win one of 4 RC Gift Certificates for the big birthday! 2 random comments on FB and 2 random blog commenters will be chosen to WIN!

First card is another birthday card and I love how it turned out.

 I started with another fabulous Let's Celebrate Quick Card Panel and a Sweet Sunday Sketch from a few weeks back. I made a festive birthday medal with the Circle Sentiments. After I stamped the greeting I used the Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut to cut it out. I tucked in a duo of Stitched Flag Trio banner pieces.

I had some water colored panels dried and waiting for a card to use them on. I chose this pretty blue to show off the awesome new sentiment set called God Is Good. I LOVE it and can't tell you how happy I am that Jen added this set to the RC store.

I kept it simple and just added some sequins to make it shine!

Come back tomorrow, I'll have one more day of sneak peeks and then we'll have our

Count Down to Confetti {Day 1-Monkey Business and Party Hats}

It's PARTY TIME!!! That's right, Reverse Confetti is celebrating it's 2nd Birthday and we are sooooo super excited to share the fun with you all. The May release is happening on May 8 and we have 3 fabulous days of sneak peeks coming your way. Today is our first day and we have two awesome sets and coordinating dies to share. Spoiler Alert.....you will FALL IN LOVE!

I'm kicking of today with the adorable new Monkey Business stamp set. I'm.In.Love. This little guy and all the fun elements included in the set have stolen my heart!

I started off with one of the newest Let's Celebrate-Quick Card Panels. The colors in this set are AWESOME! and the  prints are FABULOUS!

Next I stamped and colored up my sweet little monkey and all his birthday fun and used the Monkey Business Confetti Cuts to cut them all out. I mounted them all on a large rounded square from Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cuts

There are some new darling banner pieces releasing that you'll want to pop into your cart on May 8th. They are called Stitched Flag Trio. I embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder and then actually folded over the flag at the stitch marks to help hold it in place.

I told you it was a party here this week. Up next is the new Party Hats stamps and Party Hats Confetti Cuts. I used the Shaker's 'n Frames again, but this time to make an actual shaker card.

 I did some watercolor smooshing in the background and filled up the frame with pretty sequins. I accented the frame with some silver twine and a Party Hat stamped in my ombre' inks. To add a little more sparkle, I ended up tucking in a couple rows of the cool new Star Garland Confetti Cut

I have more to share tomorrow. Please Come back.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 267-hello and sunshine

Hello, Sunday peeps! It's time for the next Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. It's another great one that I know you're going to LOVE. I am busy working on Reverse Confetti May release projects, so it was natural for me to reach for some of my favorites from last release.

That awesome sun from Sun 'n Clouds and the pretty scripty hello from Fancy words Confetti Cuts. I adhered them both onto a smooth white Circles 'n Scallops. The pretty dots are from the Pina Colda Quick Card Panel. Those colors!!! LOVE!

Here is the sketch.

Come join me over on the Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog to see more inspiration from the team.  You'll find the link up over there, too. Have a great day!

Curtain Call-Travel On Challenge

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

I love these inspiration photos. So many ways to be inspired.

I was inspired by the map and the word "travel" so I pulled out the adorable stamp set and matching dies by Reverse Confetti called Here We Go.  I stamped the card and wheels and then used the dies to cut them out. I went ahead and cut apart the sentiment  and inked up the edges with some tea dye distress ink. I forgot how fun and different a sentiment can look by doing this simple trick.

The map paper was cut with the Circles 'n Scallops die. I still had this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch in my mind, so I used it again today. Go check it out, if you haven't yet. Some enamel dots and wooden stars finish off the card.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!
