Good Morning! Vickie is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #529! She has some bright colors for this "middle of the winter" challenge!! Hope they aren't too much of a challenge!! I loved working with them. It was a nice change of pace for me.
For this week's challenge we are playing with yellow, orange, and red. I hope they inspire you. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!
If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD529, and please use #ctd529 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.
I am playing along as much as I can with The Daily Maker 30 Day coloring challenge and this Cotton & Thistles (Links Below in link list) bouquet was the first image I colored up. I am trying to use my colored pencils more and I love the look of them on kraft. I use the Polychromos pencils and stamped the image with Midnight ink onto Sand card stock.
I also used the Sand card stock for my card base and ran it through my die cut machine with the Diagonal Stitches Cover plate. I added a strip of red & white polka dot paper from the Cue the Cupid paper pad and stamped the sentiment from Cotton & Thistles in Midnight ink. I just hand snipped the little flag end and tied on some twine to finish it off.

Please Welcome
