Reverse Confetti-June Creative Blog Hop

Hello, hello! So happy you stopped by today. We have a summery theme this month and you'll see I picked a sweet summery combo of colors along with dots and sweet treats....all essentials for summer happiness. So hop along and see what the RC design team has created for us this month. the fun starts at the Reverse Confetti Blog.

I used the Hey, Sugar stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts to make my sweet treats. I stamped them on Cloud White card stock with Midnight ink and then added some distress inks to water color them in.

The first card I did was with the new Polka Panel Confetti Cuts. I created a summery watercolor, let it dry and then cut out the dots. I use the same colors to color my popsicle and then white embossed the  sentiment onto a Flowers for Mom banner. I added a touch of shimmer with a Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen and a scattering of sequins. Here's a closer look at the detail.

The next water color panel I created included more pink with some Picked Raspberry distress ink. I cut out the tag with the Dots Tag Layer Confetti Cut. Seriously, polka dots of any kind make me swoon. I stamped my favorite sentiment and this set's name sake, Hey, Sugar in Flamingo ink

For my final card I layered up the new Diamond Stripe Square Confetti Cuts in Cloud White over a Cloud White card base.

I then added my dots with the Lotsa Dots Stencil. I then cut it out with the Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink along the bottom and then added the donut. We celebrated the kick off to summer with donuts. My boys are addicted!

Here is the Blog Hop List. Come follow me to check it out.
