The July Release from LID is here and the products are amazing! I love it all! You should have arrived from Jen Carter's Blog. If not, be sure to start over on the LID Blog for all the release details. You could win one of 3 LID gift Certificates, just by leaving comments!
Let's start today off with some cuteness! The snails are HERE!!! I love this little guy. The stamp set is called Snailed It (omg....how cute is that name??!!), and of course Laura was smart and added a matching Snailed it die set.
I created a hilly scene with the Stitched Mats-Circles and Border Builder dies. I stamped some clouds and a sun from the Snailed It Stamp set, to complete my scene. The sentiment was stamped on a white card stock strip in orange ink.
Before you move on to my next card, I have to mention the background. ACK! Laura hit it out of the park with this one (again!). It's a super cool, Stitched Woodgrain Cover Plate. I love it!
So yesterday I talked about the stitched flower die from Quilted Flowers. Today I get to show you how you can assemble these beauties to make some beautiful outline images with the die.
I cut the outline die twice, once from a darker blue and another from a light blue card stock. I cut it once more with some green card stock and cut out the leaves. I then simply layered the leaf over top of the blue pieces. I then used the solid flower piece from Quilted Flowers and cut 2 from white card stock and layered it behind each of my blue flowers. This allowed for me to over lap the finished flowers without the other one showing through.
The sentiment is from Greetings & Salutations and so are the sweet little hearts. I stamped a few here and there along with a scattering of sequins. The card base of my card was covered with some of my favorite designer papers. This is the Ombre Stripes.
Take a look at the products I used today.
You can find them in the LID store NOW!
Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to leave comments along the way. There are 3 LID gift certificates up for grabs. Just be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs.
