Hello, REVERSE CONFETTI fans! Today
is release day and we are kicking it off with our new release blog hop. Soon (sooner
than soon, we hope) that crisp fall air, candy corn, and the smell of pumpkin
spice will be upon us. We couldn’t wait
that long, so we’ve got some exciting new products with a fall flair to get you
in the autumnal spirit a little early, along with another great everyday
sentiment set and several versatile Confetti Cuts dies that we know you’ll
“fall” head over heels for!
The
hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here
from Laurie Wilson’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of
the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see
using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!
First up today is the oh-so fun Treat Tote Confetti Cut die. I cannot wait to make a few more of these so they are ready to go when the neighborhood boo'ing starts. I just love the top of this box, that pinking edge is fantastic.
I stamped the kraft box with one of the star border stamps from the So Many Stars set. I cut two of the boxes first, then stamped, and finally assembled the box. I added an orange moon cut from Circles 'n Scallops. That awesome die cut word "treats" was cut twice, once in the striped paper and again in a dark gray for so I could create a shadow. The sentiment is from Cast a Spell. I masked off part of a larger sentiment to fit the Tag Me die. I cut a row of mini stars from Oh, My Stars and topped a black raven from Cast A Spell Confetti cuts. Tote-ally sweet for Halloween sweet!
Up next is maybe my favorite card I made for this release. I used the Pretty Panels-triangles die to create a stencil. I cut it from acetate and then added embossing paste. While that was drying, I cut a piece of vellum with Class Act and stamped the sentiment from In A Big Way in green ink.
I used the scalloped re-enforcer die from Tag Me, too for my flower and the little leaves from Fresh 'n Fruity.
I am in love with this release. I hope you are having fun shopping!
I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping
with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more
REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Laurel Beards’s blog. If
you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating
designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
