DS108-Amazing U

I took a stab at this week's Deconstructing Sketch 108. I had my new SU inks out and this darling word set by Avery Elle, Oh, Yeah. and I needed a birthday card, so I got busy.

Since I wanted to stamp a cluster of words, I knew the fun Notepad Die-namics would be a great focal point to show them off.  I sponged the edges with some Tea Dye distress ink. It helped make that Primitive White cs pop against the background.

I layered up a High Rise letter "u" onto a circle stax and then a pinking circle from Accent it-Flags and Tags.

The pretty triangle paper is more from the Atlantic pad by Studio Calico. I wrapped the whole card up with my favorite Hemp Twine.

I forgot to snap a picture of the inside of my card before I wrote my note. I made this for a dear friend's birthday. I had layered more of the kraft paper and the triangle pattern and stamped a simple Happy Birthday sentiment.
