I cut two of them, one in Black Licorice, and the other in Red Hot cardstock, and I layered them up. I love that little pop of red behind my chalkboard. I used some fun Studio Calico papers in the background and accented it with some Kraft and Sno cone cardstock. A big 'ol Red Hot ribbon was the final embellie I added.
To create my chalkboard, I stamped the larger Chalkboard Greetings sentiment first in versamark ink. I then added the smaller sentiments in different directions from Right on Target. Then I filled in some of the empty spaces with a few arrows. I gave it all a good sprinkling of White Embossing Powder (IMPORTANT!! be sure to swipe your whole panel with a anit-static pouch BEFORE stamping so the embossing powder ONLY sticks to the stamped images). After I embossed the Notepad, I then added a bit of doodling with my Prismacolored pencils and swiped on a bit of white craft ink for my chalk dust look. Cute, huh??
