Today we have two more sets to share: Inspired by Trees; Two Scoops for Flopsey .   I have samples with both sets along with some of the cool, new Die-namics that you can purchase on May 1.

Let’s get things started with my Inspired by Trees card. I used some of the newer Lily Bee papers-.  I love the aqua and yellows.  I used the awesome new DESIGNER LABEL  1 STAX to show off the beautiful tree image.  The whole set is full of wonderful, earthy tree stamps mixed with beautiful sentiments.

This one is my fave.  It makes me think of my little ones.  I hope they grow to be GREAT OAKs!

Are you LOVING the Stax Die-namics as much as I am??  Such a great addition to the MFT Boutique, and to my Die-namics collection.  The DESIGNER LABEL 1 STAX  Is such a fun shape and once again…it embosses and cuts at the same time.  I thought it looked great layered over a few of the new RECTANGLE  STAX SET 1 DIE-NAMICS.

I accented the card with black pearls and some BERRYLICIOUS GROGRAIN RIBBON.  Seriously LOVE this ribbon.   I used my Horizontal Slot punch to give me a little window to thread my ribbon through.  Card base is WHIP CREAM CS and the black is MFT's BLACK LICORICE. I ♥ MFT card stock.

Changing gears, we’ll move on to my Flopsey card. I had so much fun with this one. I added a few of my favorite, new Stax Die-Namics-Fishtail Flag Stax and Jumbo Banner Day Stax, along with the new-soon-to-be-released, DESIGNER LABEL 1 STAX and one of the RECTANGLE STAX SET 1 DIE-NAMICS.

Flopsey is livin' large with a double scoop ice cream cone....just how I like mine! I am a big  ice cream junkie. I have to keep from buying it at the grocery store, because I would be the one to eat it all!  We have some GOOD ice cream here in Cincinnati-Graeter's and United Dairy Farmers (you might know it as Homemade brand ice cream)-YUM!!! Flopsey would LOVE it here :)

This sentiment just makes me smile! Here's a closer look at it along with the fun banners and flags.

You can also see a bit of the teeny tiny scalloped edge I tucked in, to accent then seam between pattern papers (that's the Dear Lizzie, Neapolitan papers, btw).  I am really loving these super small border Die-namics.

Kim's Blog has the line up for today's Teaser Posts! Hop on over there for more details!

See you back here tomorrow!

  30. With the first card, I love the monochromatic effect created when you matted the Oak Tree image with the same neutral color cardstock as the ink that you stamped it with, before layering it over some colorful patterned papers and dressing it up with a beautiful, brilliant berrylicious bow!
