CAS45-embrace the curves

It was a way to use it challenge for the CAS thread this week-use curves on your card. I'm really liking the look of the fun rolling hills on cards. I've done quite a few over the past few months, and there are lots of different ways to achieve the look. I decided to keep it simple and justcut mine free hand. I always do at least two layers to help give dimension. I also like to sponge some ink on the edges. The olive dp is Nutmeg by Cosmo Cricket and those cute little owls are from the Unity November Store Kit of the Month....believe in fairy tales. You can still get those stamps (I'm still working my way through all the images-so many stamps, too little time. LOL!) and those fun papers at Limelight Papercrafts. Mandy also got in some new October Afternoon goodies (mine should be here today, so I get to show them off later this week). Super easy card, and pretty straight forward. It is CAS afterall!

  1. Oh Lisa, this is too cute. Love how clean and simple it is, but you squeezed several cute details and touches in! The tiny heart by the sentiment- and those adorable owls side by side. Great job on the challenge!

  2. This is darling! Love the pop of the hills and flag against the more neutral owls/base!
