It's been hard to not use my non-SU products, but I put them all away so I can focus on my SUO stuff. I did scrapbook two pages yesterday with some October Afternoon dp! I Love the new Billboard alphabet die that SU added to their Big Shot collection. Angie Tieman has been using those letters on cards and they look great. I'll have to give that a try. Her card today is just gorgeous! Well, I'm not sharing my scrapbook pages today, but I do have a few more cards. This first one I whipped up in about 8 minutes last night. Easy to do with a great sketch (sketch challenge on SCS) and beautiful dsp. This is the Parisian Breeze specialty paper.
And here is one more Good Friend card. The HI is a rub-on from the A Perfect Day pack. I love the bright cheerfulness of this card. The ribbon is actually Saffron grosgrain (you can get some FREE with a $50 order!)
Now look at this! Tim was able to take a picture of this beautiful rainbow that was right out our back door. We had weird weather yesterday and right before dinner the rainbow appeared. He wasn't able to get the whole thing in the picture, but you could actually see the FULL arc of the rainbow. I have never seen that before. This just made me happy and the boys and I watched it for the full 4 minutes it was visable. This is the picture from the front of our house.

And this is what it looked like from our backyard.

Hugs to you all! Lisa

  1. I love both of your cards, Lisa!! The colors on both are great - and the details too!! That rainbow looks like it ends in your backyard!!!! Was there a pot of gold? LOL ;)

  2. Both of your cards are great but I am LOVING the first one. I LOVE the colors, images and the layout of it. Fabulous job!!

    The rainbow is beautiful.

  3. Beautiful cards Lisa, I always struggle with SUO. You have a lovely home and that rainbow is amazing.

  4. Nice cards! I've been thinking of adding that alpha to my order thanks to Angie too, lol!

  5. You know I LOVE your SUO cards! They are my favorite and what I always look for! ;) I love how different these are- one is soft, stylish and sophisticated and the other is funky, fun and fabulous!

And I've got to say, I can't believe you've never seen an entire rainbow before. I saw one that same day- bet it was the same one. hee hee.

Have you ever seen a double rainbow, where one is over the other? Very very cool site, let me tell ya! I've seen 2 or 3 that way I believe, one just recently.

  6. over the rainbow...lisa is making beautiful cards!! Love your cards today, beautiful work! Shows your "soft" side and your "bright, funky" side!

Thanks so much for your kind and supportive words. I appreciate each of you taking the time to leave some love. Have a great day!
