I had water color fun today and used some new to me stamps and dies. I have been seeing lots of pretty things created with Concord & 9th products floating around Instagram lately. So when I saw that Vanessa was going to carry them in the Butterfly Reflections Ink store, I snagged them up quick.
I just so happened to have some scraps of water colored paper sitting on my desk in the pink and aqua color, so I cut out the By Your Side Birds from them. I also ran the die through my machine with some kraft card stock, too. I cut apart the birds and added them to the top of the kraft layer.
I then cut out more water color card stock with the Rounded Rectangle LID die. I used some distress inks to create a pretty color wash for my background in aqua (broken china and peacock feathers) and pinks (spun sugar with a touch of picked raspberry).
I just LOVE, love the font from By Your Side. Once my water color panel was dry I stamped the sentiment with some MFT Black Hybrid ink. I love using my MISTI to ink it up twice for a nice crisp image. A few sequins, a wood veneer heart, and a kraft burlap bow finished this beauty off.
