Lil' Inker Designs/ May Release/ Day 2

It's an exciting day around here. It's day 2 of RELEASE week for Lil' Inker Designs and there are some fun and fabulous stamps and dies just for you! I love it all, and you will too!

This next project was created with one of my all-time favorite product released from LID. I love all the Cover Plates, but this Cover Up Butterfly die is Ah-MAZING!! I started with some water color paper and the ink smooshing technique using Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple distress ink. Once the panel was dried, I added some splatter, because Splatter is always a great way to accent a water colored panel. I cut the Butterfly Cover Up Die from white card stock and added a sentiment from Spread Your Wings (I love that Laura designed these these products to work together). I white heat embossed it onto a strip of Midnight card stock to make it pop!

Next I pulled out some Distress Oxide inks and to ink blend over the white embossed butterflies from Spread Your Wings. Once the butterflies were cooled, I stamped the sentiment in the center and then blended on Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks.

I love how easy the inks blend with the Life Changing blending brushes. Here is a closer look at the white heat embossed butterflies. It is a simple card, but the embossed details really add a touch of wow! I think this sentiment makes a great graduation card.

I have a fun and fantasic shaker card for you today. It's with the new Pineapple Shaker die. I love the details on this die and there are so many ways to combine the pieces and create many versions of a paper pineapple.

I added the Pineapple shaker to the top of a Stitched Gift Card Holder. I added a sweet sentiment from the Be Sweet stamp set. It's the perfect companion to the die. I stamped it in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Reverse Confetti/ May Release/ Happy Birthday

It's here, it's here....the May Release from Reverse Confetti is LIVE! I'm so excited to see you all get these awesome products into your hands. I also want to say Happy Birthday to RC. I have been blessed to be a part of the team for the last six years.

I have two cards to share today showing a little more of the fun stamps and dies. If you remember back to day 1 of the countdown, you might remember my other Celebrate card, with the letters all cut from the Sweet Stripes paper. This is the left over, positive piece from that card. I lined it with some Navy card stock and added back in the bits of the negative letter pieces. I love the Party & Celebrate Confetti cuts. The font is big and bold, great for all celebrations.

I decided to add the adorable little bear from Ice Cream Social. I also added a sentiment from that set to complete my card's greeting.

I had the Party Animal stamp set on my desk, and decided to color up the cake image. It was the perfect size to fit in the circle from my new favorite tag, See Through Tag Confetti cuts. I simply added the sentiment under the image.

I love how the diagonal stitched lines really pop in the Premium Polar White card stock. I tied on some bakers twine and added the completed tag to the top of some polka dots from the Darling Dots paper. I did add some glitter to my cake frosting, even though you can't see it in these photos.

Color Throwdown542-Party

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new challenge! Barbara ishere with our colors for this week. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: coral pink, blue, green, and kraft you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! Hello CTD fans! As much as I wanted to pull out one of the many gorgeous wreath stamps I own, I just had to color up this cutie-pie-party-monkey from the NEW Reverse Confetti Release. The stamp set is called Party Animal. I used the new Sweet Stripes for my background and created a festive shaker with the new See Through Tag Confetti Cut in Sand card stock.

I cut the word party from the Party & Celebrate Confetti Cuts three times from Premium Polar White card stock and then sponged on Coral ink onto one set of the letters for the perfect shade. I glued the letters together to create the dimension on my sentiment.

Here is a closer look at the adorable party monkey from the Party Animal stamp set. I colored him up with Copics and then used the Party Animal Confetti Cuts to cut him out. Easy, peasy! I love the fun colors of this sequin mix from Stampin' Up! I tied on some natural hemp twine and called this one done!

Reverse Confetti/ May Release Countdown Day 3

Hello Fetti Friends! I am so excited about the May release from Reverse Confetti! I am loving all the new Dawn Machel, Birthday vibes and stripes..... cute cute stuff. We are celebrating Reverse Confetti's 6th Birthday!! We are on the final day of the Countdown, that means TOMORROW is Release Day!! So let's jump into our last day of the Countdown to Confetti. All the new stamps, dies, and paper will be available for purchase on May 8!

Today we wrap things up with this amazing set that included multiple reasons to celebrate, it's called Cake & Champagne. I colored up the cake and added some floral images to top it off. I started the the Square & Circle Frame Confetti Cuts, cut from Polar white card stock and I created a festive shaker card. I added the pretty striped paper from Sweet Stripes 6x6 pad and stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink.

With some foam tape, clear acetate and a handful of pretty sequins, I added them to the card base. I then adhered the finished cake to the outside of the card with some liquid adhesive.

Mmmmmm. Look at that cake. I would love to dive into that! I used the coordinating Cake & Champagne Confetti Cuts to cut it out. Here's a closer look at the pretty details.
