Picket Fence Studios-Holiday Release

Oh my goodness! I am pretty excited about today's post. It's our first official release with Picket Fence Studios. We have a whole lot of holiday fun lined up for you today. The team has been busy creating. Thanks for joining me. All the release details are over on the Picket Fence Studios blog, so be sure to start over there.

So let's get to it! I'll start with a jolly ol' Ho Ho HO! It's glittery and awesome and I combined a few of the new stamp sets. Oh, and I pulled out some Heat 'n Stick powder to glitterfy (that's a word, right??) my card front. The new All That Glitters stamp is so so cool! It's stamps a fun textured outline with an open space to add whatever your heart desires. Today I stamped All That Glitters with versamark, added some Heat 'n Stick powder and then topped it with some Tim Holtz distress glitter. I love how it looks a little like snow! 

I then used the Santa Mischief stamp set to add the sentiment and the jolly ol' Santa. I colored up Santa with my copics and finished the card off with some sequins and bakers twine. 

I have a love for polar bears. Anytime we go to the zoo I have to see the giraffes AND polar bears. I was thrilled to see this next stamp set in the release line up. The set is called A Bear Kind of Winter. The images are just soooo sweet! I colored one up with copics, using grey tones and added some color with his hat and scarf. 

I created a wintry scene with another new product that I squealed over when I opened it....CIRCLE Stencils! Yes, I'm yelling! I love a great frame and not having to use masking paper with my dies makes me sooooo so happy! I laid down the outer frame of the middle sized stencil (there are three different sizes and all of them include the positive and negative of the circles) and I used the blending brushes to add Distress Oxide ink in Broken China and Peacock Feathers. 

I cut some glittery snowflakes and topped them with a sweet little pink heart in the centers from Reverse Confetti. The sentiment is from A Bear Kind of Winter. I stamped it onto Midnight card stock and versamark ink and used some white embossing powder to really make it pop. 

One last one from me for today. While I had my white embossing powder out and distress inks, I created this card with the String of Lights stamp set. Something about this card gives me  a little country Christmas feeling. 

I started with a bit of color smooshing in the background. I let the panel dry and then stamped the images and embossed them in white embossing powder. You can see that detail here. 

The sentiment is from the same set, String of Lights and I inked it up with some Midnight ink. I added a couple strips of festive paper and then tied it up in a twine bow.

Color Throwdown 510-Best Witches

All the brand new release goodies from Reverse Confetti are still sitting on my desk. So I couldn't resist using them. Plus, I couldn't get the witch hat idea out of my head using the new Triangle Tree stamps and Confetti Cuts. 

The sentiment circle is from Boo Yea. I cut the circle from Bags & Tag Creator Confetti Cuts in Tangerine. I stamped the sentiment cirlce in Rust ink. I inked up some Fall Foliage stamps and colored them with my Copics and then cut them out with the Fall Foliage Confetti Cuts.
Now for the witches hat. I stamped the striped Triangle Trees in Lead ink onto Stormy card stock. For the brim, I just cut a strip of Lead card stock  and snipped the ends at an angle. I love it.
The background is the fabulous Triangle Cover Plate. I'm in love. Cut that from Sand and adhered over a Cloud White card base. Some twine wrapped it all up.

Reverse Confetti September Release

 Wooohoo! it's release day! It's been an exciting week and we are so ready for the Big Release of all the September goodies. I can't wait to see what you all purchase AND most of all what you all create with the new products. CLICK HERE for the New Release products, but don't miss the hop.....it's full of awesomeness!  

I am so excited to share my projects today. I love the softness of the new Cotton & Thistles stamp set. I embossed them with some clear embossing powder after I stamped them with Midnight ink, then I watercolored them quickly.

 I trimmed down the panel and set it aside to dry. I then cut a strip of paper from the Autumn Abundance 6x6 paper pad. There are so many great patterns in this pack, I'm having a hard time using them. I want to hoard them all, so I have only been cutting small strips to savor them all. 

My favorite font is back, with this Cotton & Thistles set. I stamped it onto a piece of vellum card stock with Midnight ink and wrapped it around my finished water colored panel. I love using vellum so I don't completely hid what's behind it. The jar was too pretty. 

My final card for this release is a holiday card using the gorgeous new candle set, it's called Christmas Candles. I stamped the tall candle and colored it with copics. I also stamped up some of the greenery in Avocado ink and  I then used the matching Christmas Candles Confetti Cuts to cut them out.  

I set that aside and worked on the background for my card. I love stamping white pigment ink onto Sand card stock. I add all the greenery images around the outside border of my base panel. I added the sentiment in Midnight ink and then stamped the light rays from Christmas Candles with some Distress oxide inks to make them really pop against the Sand card stock. I added the colored candle piece to the center and topped the flame with some Stickles glitter.

Countdown to Confetti Day 3

Hello! and Welcome back. It's release month for Reverse Confetti and we are kicking it into gear with all the holiday feels!  It's time for Countdown to Confetti.....we are on the final day of our sneak peeks. So we've covered fall and Halloween, now let's move on to some Holiday goodies! Today I've got two sweet cards for you. I couldn't wait to share this first one. I just love these sweet Holiday Gnomes. I started with some ink smooshing in the background and added a grassy hill from Nuts About You Confetti Cuts. I then stamped two of the tree images with Midnight ink onto two different patterns from Autumn Abundance 6x6 paper pack. 

I cut out the trees with some quick fussy cutting, and after I colored up the gnomes, I used the Holiday Gnomes Confetti Cuts to cut out the gnomes.

 I stamped the sentiment at the top with Midnight ink and then scattered lots of pretty sequins to create the festive feeling of the card. 

I'm pretty giddy about this next card, too. I squealed when I saw this set. It's called Triangle Trees and and I love all the different patterns, I stamped three of them in Lime, RC Aqua, and Avocado onto the matching card stock colors. Swoooon! 

You can't have too many triangle, so I used the amazing new Triangles Confetti Cuts cover plate. OMG! I love the detail on this die. I cut it in Premium Polar White and layered it over a Premium Polar White card base. I added a strip of diagonal paper from Autumn Abundance and stamped the sentiment in Stormy ink onto Stone card stock.
