Lil' Inker Designs December Release

Hello and welcome! It's the December release with Lil' Inker Designs and we are getting cozy. I am in love with all the products available TODAY! This release is fabulous and I'm warning you now.....I cannot get enough of the buffalo plaid.  I am seriously obsessed.

Oh, wait....before I dive in, you can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. check it out! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share. It's soooo good, trust me.

Don't forget....you can WIN IT ALL!
All you have to do is leave comments along your way  today and every day, as you hop.  We'll pick one winner from a DT Member's blog.

So let's jump right in with my plaid mitten done up in green. I stamped the awesome Cozy Plaid stamp set in Avocado ink onto Avocado card stock. I love the tone-on-tone look. I then cut the mitten from the Mitten Shaker Die Set. I then colored up the sweet little penguins from the Good Cheer stamp set. I also used the snowflakes from the same set to stamp a subtle background for my mitten.

I stamped the sentiment from Good Cheer in midnight ink and used the Good Cheer Dies to cut out the penguin and pile of snowballs. The finishing touches were the twine bow and some tinsel glitter on the snowball. I cut the whole main panel with the Silly Stitched Square

I am still on my rainbow kick. I love the look and when doesn't a rainbow anything make someone smile?? I did some ink smooshing for my background and then added the splattering in some of the same distress ink colors I used. I colored up the Good Cheer penguins in rainbow colors with my Copic markers and then cut them out with the Good Cheer dies

I layered up the awesome new Hugs Word die. I love that it has the solid background bubble layer to outline the word. I kept it simple here with a classic b&w color combo. The "sending" sentiment is from the Cozy Plaid stamp set.

Need the perfect gift for your crafty friend or family member.....LID Gift Certificates are always the perfect size.

Here is the blog list for today!
Don't miss the awesomeness from the design team.

Here's a closer look at the new stamps and dies I used on today's projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to hop along and leave comments at each of the blogs on the hop today and the next two days for a chance to win a prize!

Color Throwdown 523-Sparkling Holiday

Hello, everyone!   Broni is the hostess for the final Color Throwdown challenge of 2018.  I can hardly believe that the year is almost over! Thank-you for playing along with us each week.

For our challenge I chose a classic Christmas color palette of Red, Green, Kraft, and White.

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD523, and please use #ctd523 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the rules are in the right sidebar, so check them out if you're unsure.  And no digital designs will be allowed - only digital images that are printed off and colored.

I went classic on my card today, by inking up three of the Triangle Trees in three different Reverse Confetti inks-Pistachio, Grass, and Olive. I used the Triangle Trees Confetti Cuts to cut them out and then added them to the top of a Premium Polar White Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cuts

I added a sparkly Wonky Double Edge Scallop Border hill top to the bottom of the tag and added my red for the challenge colors with some red twine. I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the Sand panel in Midnight ink.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

Reverse Confetti/December Creative Hop

Hello, Hello! It's the 8th and that means the Reverse Confetti Crew is getting creative. We are so excited to share our December Creative Hop projects along with some of our favorites from the past year. So grab a cup of your favorite beverage and join us.

I am kicking things off with a new framed piece. I have this 6x6 frame that sits on one of my occasion tables. I like to change it out every season. I pulled out a handful of the recent release stamps and Confetti Cuts to create a holiday/winter scene. I colored up the sweet gnome from Holiday Gnome with copics and then used the matching Holiday Gnomes Confetti Cuts. I also colored up his sac and then set the finished pieces aside. I cut a sparkly snowy hill with some glitter paper with the Edgers Confetti Cuts

I used the pretty pink snowflake paper from the Winter Solstice 6x6 paper pack. I framed it up with the Scalloped Squares in Premium Polar White. I also decided to add a layer of vellum, because I just had to use the sweet polka dots from the Snowballs Cover Panel. love that die. The sentiment is from the amazing new Snowflake Magic stamp set. I inked  up the large flake with Piggy Bank and rolled edges with Flamingo and Coral ink and the center was inked with Seafoam ink.

I had a hard time narrowing down my favorite projects from this past year. There have been so many great new products released, which makes creating fun. First up is the sweet little seal from Sealiously. I love all things Dawn Machell and this set was just adorable. I  have all the products listed below in my Linkdeli link list, so click there to shop!

I am loving all things rainbow lately. I was tickled when the Cue the Confetti paper pad was released. I used the stripes to inspire the rainbow Mod Floral Stack on this card.

As hard as it was to pick my favorite projects, THIS card was a no brainer. I think it might be my no.1 top pick for the year. Fall Foliage has gotten lots of mileage since it released and I will continue to use it over and and over again. I had some fun with water coloring on this card.

Here is the list of projects for today's Hop!
So much Inspiration.

Color Throwdown 522- Holiday Cheer

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new challenge! Barbara is here with our colors for this week. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: coral, red, green, and gray you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD522and please use #ctd522 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check 'em out to be sure. Importantly, though, no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I got a little graphic with my card today and started with a stenciled background with the Pointed Out Stencil and pistachio and Lime Green ink. I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to apply the ink.

I cut crisp white snowflakes with the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and added them to the stenciled background. I stamped a greeting from Sentimental Christmas in  Stone ink. I brought in the rest of the challenge colors with the strips of Winter Solstice papers and the enamel dots over the snowflakes.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
