Countdown to Confetti {day 2}

Welcome back! Thanks for all your sweet words on my Reverse Confetti post from yesterday. Did you love yesterdays peeks? I think I need to go back and take another look at all that eye candy. But before I do that, I think we should check out today's goodies. We have TWO Keywords Collection sets to show off, AND They rock!

First up is my soft and pretty card. I used the Go Together set for this one and last week's Mojo Monday sketch.  I reached for the beautiful new Love Notes Confetti Cuts die set.

The sentiment was stamped in Steel Grey ink onto the scallop frame. I folded up the edges just a bit, using the score line as a guide. It adds just a subtle bit of extra dimension to my focal point.

I cut one of the hearts from Love Notes from some pink gingham paper. I topped it with a white button and tucked a little Tag Me die behind it. I also added a few polka dots from Whole Lotta Dots

One more detail to pint out.....those teeny scallops in the background, cut from the striped paper. Those are the small scallops from the Double Edge Scallop die.

Next up is the Key words collection: Sweet Thing. You're going to fall in love with this one too. There are soooo many word combos and great ways to use this set. It's perfect for all your lovey projects this Valentines. I used the current Deconstructed Sketch for my layout here.

This might be paper from a holiday pack, Bundled Up, but with a house full of boys, pinks won't do for a Valentine's Day card. Plus, I love that plaid, so I used it. I think  it's a great way to stretch your paper packs. My sentiment is custom made. Seriously....there are SO MANY options.

I added some fun hearts in the background, on that Spearmint layer with the Lots of Hearts stamp set. I love all the different patterns Jen included in this set.

and here is one more look at the detail I added. I cut those hearts with the plaid paper from the Love Notes die. Topped it with my double twine bow and a red button.

Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks {day 1} And Sweet Sunday Sketch

Loads of fun here on my blog today. Lucky you....it's a two-fer day. It's the New Year, Hello 2014, and the Sweet Sunday Sketch team is here EVERY WEEK. Yep, Karen decided she wanted to give you more, so there will be a new sketch to play along with each Sunday. We are starting the new year off with few new members and saying good-bye to a few of our team mates as well.
It's also the beginning of the new Release Sneak Peeks for Reverse Confetti!!! We are gearing up for the season of love and I know you are going to LOOOOVE everything releasing this month. We have three days of peeks and then Release Day is Jan.8! Remember 8 is great!!!

Let's jump in. My first card uses the current Sketch For You To Try . It was perfect to show off this A-dorable new image from RC. Ready.....all you coloring fans are going to squeal, I'm just warning you!!! Please meet the first of Quirky Cuties-Frieda Fox!!!

I am in love. I stamped her on x-press blending cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her up with my Copics. Ahhhhhh! I was in need of some coloring therapy. There are beautiful sentiments in this set, and the glasses....are optional. It is it's own stamp.

Here are the markers I used to color up this sweet fox.

How about a few detail shots? This one shows off the great heart dies that are part of the Love Notes Confetti Cuts dies. The die set is awesome and included these hearts and the pretty scalloped frame that Freida is mounted on. Scalloped edges and a fabulous embossed detail around the center. It's a must have!

See the heart pattern on the Spearmint card stock? It's a new background set, called Whole Lotta Hearts. I can't put it down!! You'll see....I think I use it on every sneak peek I have created this release.

Another shot of the scallops. BUT wait....the pink panel....that's ANOTHER new Confetti Cut. Jen is adding a double edge, two sizes, scallop border called Double Edge Scallop Border. One die, two sizes....fabulous for your pocket book AND all your crafty projects.

My next card uses this week's  Sweet Sunday Sketch. I'm also showing off another new set releasing from Reverse Confetti on the 8th. It's called Paper Crane. I think it's such a unique set with gorgeous sentiments. This is my FAVORITE.

I added some pretty hearts from Whole Lotta Hearts stamp set in Insulation Pink ink. I stamped the sentiment right over top with some Regal Rose ink. It's accented with a trio of pretty buttons.

The row of arrows are included in the Paper Crane stamp set

Here is the Sweet Sunday Sketch:

Seasons Givings Blog Hop 2014

Welcome! Happy New Year!!!

I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing blog hop again this year. A big shout out to Latisha for organizing this massive event.

The best part is....it's all for you! I am so thankful for all of you that visit my blog time and time again. I love creating and I love sharing what I create. I have a card and some blog candy to share today.
Lucky for you...it's also time for a new Sketch For You To Try with Reverse Confetti. My card today is a sample using this month's sketch.

I am bulking up my birthday card stash. Here is the first one of the new year. I used a few Reverse Confetti stamps for my card. The new release is right around the corner, so before I jump in with the new I wanted to ink up some of my other stamps.

I used Lots to Say for my sentiment. I stamped it in black ink onto the large tag from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts set. I added some polka dots from the Celebrate Cake. Check out that present....it's also from that same stamp set. I love that you can make it a gift or a cupcake....having options is a good thing. Jen does a great job of doing this when designing her stamps.

I'll leave you with a few more details. First about the sketch, and then about my give away.
