Reverse Confetti Sneak Peek {day 1}

I have been waiting for this day for some time. It's my first offical post as a Confetti Crew Design Team member. Wooohooo!!! I am jumping right in!

It's almost release time.....so until then, we'll be teasing you with some creations using the new stamps that are releasing ON Sept. 8!!

Today I have a few things with the adorable set called Count Your Rainbows. It's the next addition to the Key Words Collection. I know you're gonna love it. All the mix and matching you can do with the words. It's awesome.

I have a cute little door knob hanger. I have a thing for adding signage near doors in my house. I believe that if you see things over and over again, you'll begin to believe it. Kind of like my way of adding subliminal messages into my family's life. ;)

This beautiful sentiment is something I hope my boys remember.  I  cut a door knob hanger from a die I have in my stash and dressed it up with some Atlantic papers from Studio Calico. I cut a few stars and scattered them around my quote, along with a some sequins.

Since I was working with stars, I pulled out the great star stamp from Inner Rock Star stamp set. I added a cluster of them, stamped in Tangy Orange ink. A sweet little hemp twine, double bow was the finishing touch.

I made this card in some fall colors, using another beautiful sentiment from the Count your Rainbows stamp set. I used the current SFYTT4 sketch (have you played along? what are you waiting for?).

I pulled out my fabulous Tim Holtz Distress Markers and used 4 colors (Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, and Walnut Stain)  to ink up by sentiment. I love creating a multi-colored image, this way. Use the side of your marker to ink up the words as you like, give it a quick huff, and then stamp.

I used two other fun Reverse Confetti stamp sets to help accent this beautiful sentiment. I added some fun Chevrons from Arrows 'n elements. I used the same colors I used in the sentiment. I needed just a little something else, so I added the fun graphic circles in the background from Whole Lotta Dots (just so you know.....this set hasn't left my desk in two months. I ♥ it!). When I used my distress markers, I like to add distressing to the edges. So I roughed it up a bit, added some stitching and sponged on some vintage photo distress ink. So happy with this one.

Thanks for joining me today. Come back tomorrow, for more Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks for the September Release.

I'm a Confetti Crew Member!!

Hello!!! I'm super excited to FINALLY share a little secret I have been keeping. Check out my new Confetti Crew Graphic.

It's offical and I couldn't be happier to be joining the talented Crew over at Reverse Confetti. SQUEEEEAL!!!

You have seen me use A LOT  of their stamps over the last few months, so it's no big surprise that I fell in LOVE at first sight!

There is a new release (you're gonna LOVE it, I'm just warning you!)  on September 8 and our Sneak peeks start TOMORROW!

I hope you'll join me. I've got posts each day until Release Day with our Blog Hop. LOTS of fun in store.

I made something crafty to share, today. It's an earthy, girly card showing off the beautiful Peacock Pretties stamp set.

I used this month's an SFYTT4. ♥ Jen's sketches are Awesome!

I just love this sentiment.  It's part of the same stamp set. I stamped it onto some designer paper in Crisp Cantelope ink. I topped the tag with a kraft button and sponged the edges of it with some Vintage Photo Distress ink.

Here's a closer look at those pretty peacock feathers. I stamped two of them in Whip Cream Pigment ink on to Kraft cs and then cut them out. I sponged the edges with more distress ink.

For balance I added another pop of that coral color with a third stamp from the Peacock Pretties stamps. It's all tied up with a pretty twiney double bow.

I hope you'll play along for a chance to win the  ALL OF THE STAMP SETS for the next release and be invited to share their creations during our sneak peeks and hop!   So worth playing! You can read all about the challenge AND link up on THIS post on the Reverse Confetti Blog.

I hope you have a great day! I know I am......I'm still bouncing with this great news.

Sweet Sunday Sketch192-Celebrating 40

Hello September! How the heck did that happen??? I'm not quite ready for fall, BUT I am done with this 90+ degree heat. I hope we get some cooler air, soon.

I am happy to say that it's time for another SweetSunday Sketch. I had some fun making this card for my friend and neighbor. We helped her celebrate this weekend at her 40th Birthday Bash. I flipped the sketch to make my two dies work in my card design.

I thought the cool die-cut word, Celebrate, from the MFT Die-namics Accent it-Celebrate dies was a great starting point for a birthday card. I cut out the number 40 with the Big Number Die-namics and stamped them some Whole Lotta Dots by Reverse Confetti in whip cream pigment ink.

The frame pieces shown in the sketch were created with some DIY designer paper cut with the Washi Tape Die-namics.

I used one more stamped element, from another Reverse Confetti stamp set, Celebrate Cake, to finish off the card. It's a perfect birthday sentiment, because really the day should be celebrated today & every day!

Thanks for stopping by. I sure hope you'll join us for this go round with the Sweet Sunday Sketch.  Please use the linky tool on Karen's Blog.

and......Before you go, be sure to stop by and leave some love for the other members of the Sweet Sunday Sketch.
