May Stock your Stash/ Reverse Confetti

 May is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge up over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Birthday! 

I used the sweet set, Ice Cream Social (affiliate links below.If you choose to shop, I appreciate it. Thank you. They are at no extra charge for you.) for my card today. I focused on the sweet little ice cream images and put them on display with a strip of Sweet Stripes paper. 

I blended on some Baby Blue ink in the background and used the coordinating Ice Cream Social Confetti Cuts to cut out the finished images. I added some foam dimensionals to the back of each of the sweet treats to  give some added dimension. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink along the bottom of the card . I added the finished panel to an A2 Mist card base.

Reverse Confetti/ March Stock Your Stash

March is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Easter/Spring. 

I think it is safe to say we are well on our way to Spring here in the Midwest. It's still chilly but we are seeing more sunshine and bits of green starting to peek through. It makes me excited. I look forward to seeing some Spring bunnies soon. Today I colored up the sweet bunny from Spring Pals. 

I blended on some Baby Blue ink in the background and mounted the bunny and flowers from Spring Pals onto a Lacy Scallop Circle Confetti Cut. I added the sentiment along the bottom in Midnight ink.

Reverse Confetti/ February Stock Your Stash

February is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Encouragement or Congratulations. 

I went with encouragement. I love this sentiment from My Rock. I stamped it in Abyss ink onto Polar White card stock. I added a strip of Paper Bliss paper to the top of the sentiment panel. 

I used my favorite Stitched Rays Cover panel in the background. I did some ink blending with Spun Sugar and Festive Berries Distress Oxide inks. I added some water splatters and clear sequins to finish it off.

Reverse Confetti/ January Stock Your Stash

January is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is LOVE. 

I used the current Freshly Made Sketch on my card and put the Heart Pals cuties to work. I started with some ink blending and the Hearts Stencil. I masked off the top and bottom to follow the sketch. I used Copics to color up the Heart Pals duo and then then cut them out with the Heart Pals Confetti Cuts. 

I used the From Cupid paper and Tall Trio Confetti Cuts to add a strip to ground  my images.

Reverse Confetti/ December Stock Your Stash

December is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Thank You. Seems like the perfect fit for all the thanks we should send off after the holidays. I'm glad to bulk up my stash. 

I finally used the sweet little kitty from the Furever Friends stamp set. It's so cute and I colored up the bow and mouse from the set. I used the coordinating Furever Friends Confetti cuts to cut out each element. 

In the  background I sponged on some Distress oxide inks with the Hearts Stencil with my favorite Life Changing Blender Brushes. I added the die cut word from the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts. I cut out three of them and blended in the same colors I used in the background. I scattered some clear sequins to complete the card.

Reverse Confetti/ October Stock Your Stash

October is coming to a close and that means there is just a little more time to get in your cards for the Stock Your Stash Challenge over on the RC Blog. This month's challenge theme is Thanksgiving & Friendship. I combined both on my card today. I am grateful for the friends I have in my life, so the sentiment from Fall Foliage stamp set. It is my favorite September release set. 

I started the card with some Rose Gold embossing with a trio of leaf images from the Fall Foliage stamps set. Once the image was cooled, I gently placed the stamp (yes, the actual stamp) back over top of the image to create a "mask" or shield for the leaves so I could add my splatter without covering up the embossing. I learned this trick from someone on a video I watched a few months ago and I can't remember who it was. It's a great hack to cover up any watercolored, stamped, or colored image and you want to add splatter.  I added the sentiment and the designs paper strips from Abundant Autumn along the sides and called this one done. 

The sentiment was inked in Stormy Ink and I mounted it on to a Premium Polar White card base.
