Got Sketch...

I joined the second round of classes for the Got Sketch website. It started yesterday and you can still sign up. I did the first class a few months back and LOVED all the scrapbook layouts, plus it helped me get my pages done. This round, Got Sketch 102 is ALL scrapbook pages-yeah! While I loved the cards designs in the last class, I just didn't need anymore card sketches. I wanted to focus on scrapbooking. The class is self paced (I love that about it) and there is a great online community of support. Yesterday the first sketch was posted and I got a chance to dive into it. Here is my take on it. This page was from the photo shoot we did trying to capture the perfect picture for our Christmas card last year. It was a cold day at the lake and poor little Nicholas did NOT like the leaves. I used the Haiku dsp to accent the page. I love the nice fall colors in that pack. I think the rest of the page you'll be seeing are all Christmas related since that is what I am working on. I told you, I'm determined to finish out 2007! Have a great week!
Hugs,

Haik-whooo!

I couldn't stand it, I just had to post this cute little card. It literally came together in 7 minutes. I didn't have much time (although, looks like I get a few more minutes now since the two younger ones are both still asleep) because I had to take Joshua to his Open House at school. I'll keep this brief since this is the second post for today!

I just love these little guys! I paired them up with the Haiku paper (I've been dreaming about that title for a week now) and some new Tangerine Tango ribbon. The scallop strip and square are two of our new punches. I love that the 1 1/4 inch. plain square punch fits nicely inside the scallop square showing just enough scallops. Thanks for looking! I've got exciting news to share tomorrow, check back! Hugs,
