Reverse Confetti Feb. Creative Blog Hop

We are so super excited for today's blog hop. Love is in the air and the Reverse Confetti Crew has a Creative Blog Hop for you featuring ABC Projects (anything but a card) with a LOVE theme. Please join us for the beautiful creativity by the team.

I decided to update one of my frames with heart themed art work. It has been a long time since I have created something like this and it felt really good. Took be back to my scrapbooking days.....yeah, I should start that up again. Someday!

Anyway, I have this 5x5 frame that has housed a sweet little felt piece I created a few years ago for another RC Hop. You can see that project HERE if you'd like.

I was going to use felt again for today's project, but decided to stick with the gorgeous pinks and red Reverse Confetti card stock colors-Piggy Bank, Flamingo, and Salsa

I cut six hearts with the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts and topped those each with a white button with coordinating twine.
While I was initially searching for some felt, I DID run across this kraft corrugated card board paper and was inspired to use that. It's fun to dig through your stash and see what you have. It has been years since I have used this, too. I cut that to 5x5 and used it as my base for my framed project. I then cut the largest sized Scalloped Square Confetti Cuts in Premium Polar White card stock.  Before I layered that piece on, I stamped the Sentiment from Heart Filled Sentiments with Midnight ink onto a strip of vellum card stock. I hit it with some clear embossing powder to make it pop!

I then got to work assembling my project. I layered the white scalloped frame piece down where I wanted it (DO NOT ADHERE YET) and then carefully figured out my heart placement. I added the hearts topped with buttons with foam dots, except the middle row, I just glued into place. I then carefully wrapped the vellum sentiment strip around the base and adhere it in the back with some strong adhesive (I used some Scor-tape). Once that was all put together I topped the whole thing with the white Scalloped Square frame and added the finished piece to the black frame. I love it and it is such a sweet addition to my living room.

Here is another look my finished project. I just love it.
