Pawsitively Perfect {RC and Color Q}

I have been trying to work with different color combos lately. I love color, but I don't always feel like I venture out of my comfort zone and find myself reaching for the same colors time and time again. Color challenges are GREAT for pushing me out of my little box. I am linking this card up to the Color Q challenge

I think I am a first time player with this challenge blog. I had fun working with this combo. ETA: I missed the link up, but I'm okay with that. Here is the challenge graphic. I used Melon Mambo, Marina Mist, MFT blueberry and wisteria.

I used all Reverse Confetti stamps and was inspired by the current Retro Sketch no.149 layout. The stamp set is the darling Puppy Love set. I used the sweet paw print and trio of hearts to create a background on the left corner, following the sketch.

For my focal point, I cut two of the Documented Confetti cut rounded rectangles. I LOVE the size and it's perfect for showing off LOTS of stamps. I stamped some tone on tone hearts (Whole Lotta Hearts) along the bottom in wisteria ink. I stamps and colored both of the pups and then used the matching Puppy Love dies to cut them out. What a sweet pari, dontcha think??

I added a sentiment and some hearts to the top of my main panel and then accented the side with a few scallops cut from the Double  Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cut. A little button and twine pulled it all together.

Thanks for stopping by!
