Good morning and happy Sunday. Karen has another fabulous sketch for us to work with this week for The Sweet Sunday SKetch. We sure hope you'll play along.
I flipped this one and used my Reverse Confetti stamps and a few dies to make this card. It's a wedding card. I ALMOST bought a last minute card last week...GASP! It was for a wedding I attended, BUT...... There was NO selection. I decided to mail my card to the couple, a little late. Boy am I glad I waited. I love how this turned out..........sooooo much better than any store bought card.
I used the Give Thanks stamp set and the Tagged Tote confetti cut. The papers are by Studio Calico.
I cut the rounded Tagged Tote piece from vellum so you could see more of the pretty floral print behind it. After I stamped the sentiment in Soft Navy ink, let it dry, I then used an embossing folder to add some texture to the bottom of the layer. A fishtail banner piece from Tag Me and a navy buttoney bow.
Here is the sketch.
Come Play along: simply make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of Karen's post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC239 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.
